Season ticket - conditions

Conditions for issuing passes and their validity and use

 

All types of passes

Passes are issued:

  • after the delivery the applicant's current photograph in the size of 3.5 × 4.5 cm (the photograph is not required in the case of passes for children up to 3 years for the free transport of their escort)
  • after the presentation of an identity card (identity card for Czech citizens, passport for foreigners)
  • after completing the application for the issuance of a non-transferable season ticket
  • after paying the pass price of 30,- CZK

When the pass is issued, the application form must be completed, which is available either in paper form in our stores, at the information office of DPMB, a.s, or in electronic form here ...

 

 

The use of the electronic application form will significantly speed up the process, because the operator will not have to enter the customer's information.

 

Pass for pensioners and persons with a third-degree disability

  1. Old-age pensioners, persons older than 70 years and persons with a third-degree disability are entitled to the pass.
  2. Old-age pensioners up to 70 years (i.e. up to the day preceding the date of the 70th birthday) must submit the following for inspection:
    • the decision on granting the pension and a postal order stub for the recipient: the "Pension monetary incomes - payment receipt" or a confirmation of the receipt of pension, which can not be older than two months. If the pension is received abroad, the applicant must submit an officially certified translation of the confirmation of the receipt of pension in Czech,
    • an identity card with the date of birth1,
    • when the next pass is issued, the pass from the previous period is sufficient.
  3. Persons older than 70 years years (i.e. from the date of the 70th birthday) must be submit the following for inspection:
    • an identity card with the date of birth,
    • when the next pass is issued, the pass from the previous period is sufficient.
  4. Persons with a third-degree disability must present:
    • a confirmation of the third-degree disability issued by the relevant workplace of the Czech Social Security Administration every time a pass is issued for this purpose, which may not be older than two months
    • an identity card with the date of birth

 

Passes for children, pupils, youth and students

  1. Pass for children and pupils up to 15 years of age
    When a pass is issued to an applicant up to 15 years of age (i.e. up to the day preceding the day of his/her 15th birthday), the applicant must present a birth certificate or any (official) card certified by the stamp of the issuer which contains his/her photograph, name and surname, date of birth or date of the child's 15th birthday, or his/her personal identification number.
  2. Pass for youth and students from 15 years to 18 years of age
    When a pass is issued to an applicant from 15 years to 18 years of age, (i.e. up to the day preceding the day of his/her 18th birthday), he/she must present an identity card with the date of birth 55 . If the applicant requests a pass that is valid for a zone other than 100, 101, 225, 235, 370, 571, 575, 675, 740, 800 and 900, he/she must also present a proof of study, which may be:
    • a ISIC card valid until the first August 15 following its issuance or renewal;
    • a school attendance certificate, which contains the applicant's surname, first name and date of birth, the identification of the school, the stamp of the school and the signature of a person authorized by the school with a date of issue that is no older than 30 days. In these cases, the validity of the pass follows the validity of the school attendance certificate.
  3. Pass for youth and students from 18 years to 26 years of age
    When a pass is issued to an applicant from 15 years to 18 years of age, (i.e. up to the day preceding the day of his/her 26th birthday), he/she must present an identity card with the date of birth 55 and a proof of study, which may be:
    • a ISIC card valid until the first August 15 following its issuance or renewal;
    • a school attendance certificate, which contains the applicant's surname, first name and date of birth, the identification of the school, the stamp of the school and the signature of a person authorized by the school with a date of issue that is no older than 30 days. In these cases, the validity of the pass follows the validity of the school attendance certificate.
  1. Passes under paragraph 3 shall be issued no earlier than 14 days before the commencement of the relevant school year.
  2. Pupils and students who are completing their compulsory school attendance or systematically preparing for a future career through daytime or full-time studies in the Czech Republic or abroad in a secondary school, higher professional school, university or vocational school are eligible for a student's pass if these studies abroad are on a par with studies at secondary schools and universities in Czech Republic 8 by a Decision of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Physical Education.
  3. Participants in extraordinary short-term studies, evening schools and courses, remote studies, doctorate studies, combined or conversion studies, studies during employment, language courses, including post-secondary ones, and all students older than 26 years are not eligible for a student's pass.
  4. A student who terminated or suspended his/her studies for any reason may no longer use the student's pass and is obliged to immediately return it to the issuer.

 

Pass for children up to 3 years for the free transport of their escort

For the pass to be issued, the following must be presented for inspection:

  • the identity card of the legal guardian of the child with the child's date of birth,
  • the child's birth certificate (if the legal guardian does not have the information about the child on the identity card).

 

Pass validity:

Price for the issuance of the pass: 30, - CZK

 

Compensation is not given for destroyed, lost or collected (SPP IDS JMK, Art. 5) passes and coupons.


1) An identity card is a personal document of the traveller issued by a government authority (e.g. a national identity card, passport, etc.) which includes a photograph of the card holder.
2) In the zones 100, 101, 225, 235, 370, 571, 575, 675, 740, 800, 900 or 915, it is governed by the price assessment of the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic.
