On Sunday, April 19, 2026, farewell runs will be held for the K2-type trams, which have faithfully served passengers in the city of Brno for nearly 60 years. These were also the first articulated trams to be delivered to Brno.
The farewell event will feature the K2P (no. 1080), K2R (the so-called 'Party Šalina', no. 1018), and retro K2 (no. 1123) trams. This will be followed by a joint convoy ride through the city center to the Výstaviště – hlavní vstup stop, where the event will conclude.
A single-ride fare will be 50 CZK, and an all-day ticket will be 200 CZK. Children under 10 ride for free. All proceeds from the event will be donated by DPMB to the Brno-based Modrý hroch Foundation.
