Bus transport restriction in Jihlavská Street
Due to the construction of a hot water pipeline, a section of Jihlavská Street along the Central Cemetery will be closed to all traffic on Saturday, January 31, 2026, and Sunday, February 1, 2026, each day from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM.
Bus line 40 will run in both directions between the Ústřední hřbitov and the Stará nemocnice stops via Vídeňská, Bohunická, Ukrajinská / Čeňka Růžičky, and Dlouhá streets.
• The Krematorium stop will not be served in either direction.
• On the diversion route from the center, the Traťová, Gruzínská (on Ukrajinská Street), Ukrajinská and Uzbecká (on Dlouhá Street) stops will be served, and the Ústřední hřbitov stop will be served at the regional bus lines platform on Vídeňská Street.
• On the diversion route towards the city center, the Uzbecká (on Dlouhá Street), Běloruská, Vyhlídalova, and Gruzínská (on Lány Street), Za hřbitovem, Traťová, and Bohunická stops will be served, and the Ústřední hřbitov stop will be served twice (on Vídeňská Street and regularly on Jihlavská Street).
• During the closure the connections from the Studentská stop will depart 9 minutes earlier than the regular timetable.

Bus transport restriction in Charbulova Street
Due to crane dismantling, Charbulova Street will be closed to all traffic on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 6:00 AM to 10:30 PM.
Bus line 49 will run in the Tržní – Škola Charbulova section via a detour along Štolcová Street in both directions.
• The Jiránkova and Psychiatrická nemocnice stops will be served at a relocated position on Štolcova Street.
Night bus line N94 departing at 5:58 AM from the Modřice, Olympia stop and at 6:30 AM from the Modřice, smyčka stop will run in the Mírová – Tržní section via a detour along Černovická and Ostravská streets.
• The stops in the section Faměrovo náměstí – Jiránkova won't be served by these connections.
Night bus line N94 departing from the main station at 6:00 AM, 6:30 AM, and 7:00 AM will run in the Tržní – Škola Charbulova section via a detour along Štolcová Street.
• The Jiránkova and Psychiatrická nemocnice stops will be served at a relocated position on Štolcova Street.
Replacement transport in the unserved section will be provided by special connections on line N94 on the route Mariánské náměstí » Černovická » Mírová » Hájecká » Faměrovo náměstí » Škola Charbulova » Psychiatrická nemocnice » Jiránkova » Životského » Masná » Vlhká » Hlavní nádraží, departing from Mariánské náměstí at 6:13 AM and 6:43 AM.
• The Jiránkova and Psychiatrická nemocnice stops will be served at a relocated position on Štolcova Street.

Public transport operation during school holidays and timetable changes
On 30 January 2026 (school holidays), lines 1–84 follow the timetables for school holidays.
• Bus lines 66, š85, š86 and š88 are out of service.
In addition, minor changes will be made to the timetables for lines 40 and x41 from January 30, 2026.
On regional lines, we recommend to pay attention to the notes in the timetables.

Temporary relocation of the stop Za Lužánkami
Due to construction work, the Za Lužánkami stop is relocated from 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by August 31, 2026):
• For line 67 towards Avion Shopping Park, approximately 140 meters back to Sportovní Street before the parking lot exit.
• For lines 25 and 26 towards Jírova / Štefánikova čtvrť, to the central island approximately at the level of the existing stop.

Temporary cancellation of service at the Uzbecká stop

Due to the emergency condition of the bridge over the railway line, traffic between Česká and Lelekovice will be restricted from 4:00 a.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025, until further notice.
Bus line 41 will only operate between Královo Pole, nádraží – Mácova (– Ivanovice, Globus).
Replacement transport during the day will be provided by bus line x41 on the route (Ivanovice, Globus –) Mácova – Lelekovice (– Vranov).

Fryčajova Street Closure
Due to reconstruction of utility networks and road surfaces, Fryčajova Street in Obřany is closed to all traffic from 6:15 AM on Saturday, November 1, 2025 until completion of the work (expected at least till spring in 2027).
All tram line 4 connections run to the Obřany, Babická stop.
• Selected connections will no longer terminate at the Maloměřický most stop.
Bus line 57 only operates between Vranov, smyčka and Maloměřický most.
• Selected connections will no longer terminate at the Obřany, sídliště stop in the morning.
Bus line 75 only operates on the section (Slatina, nádraží –) Vozovna Slatina – Tomkovo náměstí.
• In the direction from Slatina, it runs from the Židenice, kasárna stop via the Karlova and Maloměřický most stops to the Tomkovo náměstí stop.
• In the direction to Slatina, it runs from Tomkovo náměstí (serves both the stop at the end of Valchařská Street and the stop on line 84) directly to the Židenice, kasárna stop and then continue along the usual route.
• Between Maloměřice, Obřany, and Bílovice nad Svitavou, lines 4 and x75 are available as a replacement.

UPDATE November 26, 2025: From the night of Friday, November 28 to Saturday, November 29, 2025, a night minibus line x94 is launched.
The night bus line x94 runs along the route Brno, Tomkovo náměstí (connection with line N94) – Ochoz u Brna – Kanice – Řícmanice – Bílovice nad Svitavou – Brno, Obřany, sídliště.
• From the stop Obřany, sídliště in the direction of Brno, connections depart from the signpost in the direction of Bílovice nad Svitavou.
• In Bílovice nad Svitavou, buses stop opposite the x75 line at stops in the opposite direction.
• Only buses specified in the timetable stop at the stops Ochoz u Brna, Kanice, and Řícmanice; other buses travel between Brno, Tomkovo náměstí and Bílovice nad Svitavou, UP závody without stopping.
Line x94 also replaces selected connections on line x75 during off-peak hours.
Fare measures:
• When traveling on line x94 between stops in fare zone 100, holders of the relevant season ticket do not pay the fare for zones 210 and 215; a season ticket for zone 100 is sufficient.
• When traveling on line x94 between fare zones 100 and 215, holders of the relevant prepaid ticket do not pay the fare for zone 210; a prepaid ticket for zones 100 and 215 is sufficient.
• Passengers with a single-use ticket pay the fare according to the fare zones actually traveled.
• On this line, except for the stops Tomkovo náměstí and Obřany, sídliště, passengers board exclusively through the front door, with the driver checking or selling tickets.

Tram service restriction at Ečerova terminus
Due to construction work at the Ečerova loop in connection with the construction of a new tram line to the Kamechy housing estate, there are changes to tram service in Bystrc from Saturday, October 18, 2025, until the completion of works (expected by the end of August 2026).
Tram line 1 operates in the Řečkovice – Přístaviště section and then is diverted to the Rakovecká loop.
• The Kubíčkova, Ondrouškova, and Ečerova stops are not served.
As a replacement, tram line 3 is extended to the Ečerova stop.
• The Rakovecká loop is not served.
• On the extended route, the Kubíčkova and Ondrouškova stops are served.
• The Ečerova stop is served for both boarding and alighting in the location of the current exit stop.
Other lines in the area remain unchanged.
While travelling by line 1 from the city center to the western part of Bystrc and the Kamechy housing estate in the evening, we recommend transferring to bus lines 52 and 54 at the Zoologická zahrada terminal.

Traffic restriction in Jihlavská Street – 1st phase
Due to the construction works, from Monday 30 June 2025 until the completion of the works (expected by 20 May 2026) the traffic in Jihlavská Street between the intersections with Netroufalky and Dlouhá Streets will be restricted.
Trolleybus line 25 will operate only in the section Nemocnice Bohunice – Líšeň, Jírova.
• For the section Osová – Nemocnice Bohunice it will be possible to use regular bus and tram lines.
The Stará nemocnice stop of lines 40 and N90 in the direction from the centre will be relocated to a temporary platform in the central dividing strip at the level of the regular stop.

Lines 1 and 2 are diverted from the Nové sady stop via Svobody Square to the Malinovského náměstí/Moravské náměstí stop. The Hlavní nádraží stop is served on Masarykova Street.
Line 4 is diverted from the Česká stop directly to the Malinovského náměstí stop in the direction of Obřany.
Line 10 is diverted from the Hlavní nádraží stop via Masarykova Street to the Česká stop.

Overhead lines damage – stop ARENA BRNO
Due to damage to the overhead line at the Pisárky depot, trams cannot leave the depot. Regular service on line 1 is running without restrictions.
