Bus transport restriction in Kaštanová Street
UPDATE: Based on new information from the contractor, the start of the closure has been moved to Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 4:00 AM.
Due to construction work on the highway bridge, Kaštanová Street will be closed to all traffic from 11:15 PM on Friday, January 16, 2026 4:00 AM on Saturday, January 17, 2026, to 4:00 AM on Monday, January 19, 2026, at the D1 highway underpass.
Bus line 40 will run in both directions via the D2 highway, Chrlice, and Holásky in the Ráječek – Popelova section.
• On the diversion route, the stops Zámecká, Šromova, Chrlické náměstí, V rejích, Holásky, V aleji, and Prodloužená will be served.
• The Ráječek stop will be served in both directions at the stop normally served in the direction of Tuřany; the stop in the direction of the city center will remain unserved.
• The Popelova stop will be served in both directions at a relocated position on Popelova Street.
• ATTENTION: In the Popelova – Tuřany, smyčka / Tovární section, the line will run in both directions at significantly different times compared to the regular timetable. Please pay attention to the temporary timetable.
Bus line 48 will run in both directions via the D2 motorway and Chrlice in the Hněvkovského – Holásky section.
• The Ráječek, Popelova, Prodloužená, and V aleji stops will not be served.
• On the diversion route, the Zámecká, Šromova, Chrlické náměstí, and V rejích stops will be served.
Bus line 64 will run in both directions on a diversion via the D2 motorway in the section in the Ráječek – Chrlické náměstí section.
• The Popelova, V aleji, Prodloužená, Holásky, and V rejích stops will not be served.
• On the diversion route, the Zámecká and Šromova stops will be served.
• The Ráječek stop will be served in both directions at the stop normally served in the direction of Tuřany; the stop in the direction of the city center will remain unserved.
Bus line 74 will run in both directions on a diversion via the D2 motorway, Chrlice, and Holásky in the Hněvkovského – Hanácká section.
• The stops Ráječek, Popelova, Ivanovické náměstí, Glocova, and Revoluční will not be served.
• On the diversion route, the stops Zámecká, Šromova, Chrlické náměstí, V rejích, Holásky, Rolencova, and Holásecká will be served.
Night bus line N95 will run on a two-way detour identical to line 40 in the Ráječek – Popelova section.
• On the diversion route, the stops Zámecká, Šromova, Chrlické náměstí, V rejích, Holásky, V aleji, and Prodloužená will be served.
• Buses on line N95 that normally run along Rolencova Street will run via Ivanovické náměstí, and the Holásecká and Rolencova stops will not be served at night (except for the connection from Tuřany, smyčka stop at 4:58 AM).
• The Ráječek stop will be served in both directions at the stop normally served in the direction of Tuřany; the stop in the direction of the city center will remain unserved.
• The Popelova stop will be served in both directions at a relocated position on Popelova Street.
• ATTENTION: In the Popelova – Chrlice, smyčka section, the line will run in both directions at significantly different times compared to the regular timetable. Please pay attention to the temporary timetable.
Regional bus line 109 will run from ÚAN Zvonařka directly to the Hanácká stop.
• The Konopná, Komárov, Ráječek, and Ivanovické náměstí stops will not be served.
• The Hanácká stop in the direction from Brno will be served together with line 40 on Hanácká Street.
To travel towards the city center from the Prodloužená, V aleji, Holásky, and V rejích stops on lines 40, 48, 74, and N95, it is necessary to use the stops normally used in the direction of Chrlice (the diverted lines pass through this section in the opposite direction to the regular line 64).

Trolleybus transport restriction at Drobného × Pionýrská intersection
Due to repairs to the overhead lines, trolleybus traffic will be restricted at Drobného × Pionýrská intersection from the morning departures on Saturday, January 17, 2025, until the work is completed (expected by 2:00 PM).
Trolleybus lines 25 and 26 will continue to operate on the Nemocnice Bohunice / Kamenný vrch – Mendlovo náměstí route.
• In the section Mendlovo náměstí – Jírova, a special bus line x25 will be in operation, serving the regular stops of line 25.
• In the section Mendlovo náměstí – Štefánikova čtvrť, a special bus line x26 will be in operation, serving the regular stops of line 26.
• Lines x25 and x26 will run according to the valid timetable for lines 25 and 26, with transfers available at the stop Mendlovo náměstí.

Temporary cancellation of service at the Uzbecká stop
Due to construction work, from 11:00 p.m. on December 19, 2025, until the work is completed (expected by mid-May 2026), it will not be possible to serve the Uzbecká stop on lines 40 and N90 in the direction of Nemocnice Bohunice.
Bus transport restriction in Česká and Lelekovice
Due to the emergency condition of the bridge over the railway line, traffic between Česká and Lelekovice will be restricted from 4:00 a.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025, until further notice.
Bus line 41 will only operate between Královo Pole, nádraží – Mácova (– Ivanovice, Globus).
Replacement transport during the day will be provided by bus line x41 on the route (Ivanovice, Globus –) Mácova – Lelekovice (– Vranov).
• Connections going to Mácova and from Globus will serve the following stops in Ivanovice in order (Česká, Nádavky ») Příjezdová » Kouty » Mácova, connections going to Globus in order (Česká, Nádavky ») Mácova » Kouty » Příjezdová.
• Outside of morning and afternoon rush hours, connections to Vranov will terminate at the Vranov, smyčka stop, so the Vranov, křižovatka and Vranov, myslivna stops will not be served.
Night bus line N91 services running regularly from/to Lelekovice will only run on the section Labská – Mácova and then be diverted to the stop Ivanovice, Globus.
Replacement transport during the night will be provided by bus line x91 on the route Mácova – Lelekovice, u kříže.
Lines 41 and N91 will only serve Ivanovice in a counterclockwise direction, in both directions and all route variants, serving the stops in order Mácova » Kouty » Příjezdová (regular stops towards city centre).
With the exception of connections to Ivanovice, Globus, line x41 will operate clockwise in Ivanovice and will serve the stops in order Příjezdová » Kouty » Mácova (regular stops towards Lelekovice).
Interchange between lines 41 and x41, or N91 and x91, will be possible at the Mácova stop.

Fryčajova Street Closure
Due to reconstruction of utility networks and road surfaces, Fryčajova Street in Obřany is closed to all traffic from 6:15 AM on Saturday, November 1, 2025 until completion of the work (expected at least till spring in 2027).
All tram line 4 connections run to the Obřany, Babická stop.
• Selected connections will no longer terminate at the Maloměřický most stop.
Bus line 57 only operates between Vranov, smyčka and Maloměřický most.
• Selected connections will no longer terminate at the Obřany, sídliště stop in the morning.
Bus line 75 only operates on the section (Slatina, nádraží –) Vozovna Slatina – Tomkovo náměstí.
• In the direction from Slatina, it runs from the Židenice, kasárna stop via the Karlova and Maloměřický most stops to the Tomkovo náměstí stop.
• In the direction to Slatina, it runs from Tomkovo náměstí (serves both the stop at the end of Valchařská Street and the stop on line 84) directly to the Židenice, kasárna stop and then continue along the usual route.
• Between Maloměřice, Obřany, and Bílovice nad Svitavou, lines 4 and x75 are available as a replacement.
Replacement transport is provided by the special midibus line x75 on the route Obřanský most – Hradiska – Obřany, sídliště (– Bílovice nad Svitavou, železniční stanice).
• The Hradiska stop are located at the upper end of the street of the same name in both directions.
• In the section Obřany, sídliště – Bílovice nad Svitavou, železniční stanice, the bus follows the route and stops of line 75.
The night bus line N94 terminates at the Obřany, Babická stop.
• Selected connections no longer run to Bílovice nad Svitavou.
The Hlaváčova and Bílovická stops are completely out of service during the closure.
Due to the limited capacity of the x75 minibus line and the significantly longer travel time, we recommend primarily using the S2 railway line for travel between Brno and Bílovice nad Svitavou, with a transfer to bus lines x75 and 211 at the Bílovice nad Svitavou, železniční stanice stop.
During the closure, minor changes to the measures in place may occur as part of the individual stages of construction work.
UPDATE November 26, 2025: From the night of Friday, November 28 to Saturday, November 29, 2025, a night minibus line x94 is launched.
The night bus line x94 runs along the route Brno, Tomkovo náměstí (connection with line N94) – Ochoz u Brna – Kanice – Řícmanice – Bílovice nad Svitavou – Brno, Obřany, sídliště.
• From the stop Obřany, sídliště in the direction of Brno, connections depart from the signpost in the direction of Bílovice nad Svitavou.
• In Bílovice nad Svitavou, buses stop opposite the x75 line at stops in the opposite direction.
• Only buses specified in the timetable stop at the stops Ochoz u Brna, Kanice, and Řícmanice; other buses travel between Brno, Tomkovo náměstí and Bílovice nad Svitavou, UP závody without stopping.
Line x94 also replaces selected connections on line x75 during off-peak hours.
Fare measures:
• When traveling on line x94 between stops in fare zone 100, holders of the relevant season ticket do not pay the fare for zones 210 and 215; a season ticket for zone 100 is sufficient.
• When traveling on line x94 between fare zones 100 and 215, holders of the relevant prepaid ticket do not pay the fare for zone 210; a prepaid ticket for zones 100 and 215 is sufficient.
• Passengers with a single-use ticket pay the fare according to the fare zones actually traveled.
• On this line, except for the stops Tomkovo náměstí and Obřany, sídliště, passengers board exclusively through the front door, with the driver checking or selling tickets.

Tram service restriction at Ečerova terminus
Due to construction work at the Ečerova loop in connection with the construction of a new tram line to the Kamechy housing estate, there are changes to tram service in Bystrc from Saturday, October 18, 2025, until the completion of works (expected by the end of August 2026).
Tram line 1 operates in the Řečkovice – Přístaviště section and then is diverted to the Rakovecká loop.
• The Kubíčkova, Ondrouškova, and Ečerova stops are not served.
As a replacement, tram line 3 is extended to the Ečerova stop.
• The Rakovecká loop is not served.
• On the extended route, the Kubíčkova and Ondrouškova stops are served.
• The Ečerova stop is served for both boarding and alighting in the location of the current exit stop.
Other lines in the area remain unchanged.
While travelling by line 1 from the city center to the western part of Bystrc and the Kamechy housing estate in the evening, we recommend transferring to bus lines 52 and 54 at the Zoologická zahrada terminal.

Traffic restriction in Jihlavská Street – 1st phase
Due to the construction works, from Monday 30 June 2025 until the completion of the works (expected by 20 May 2026) the traffic in Jihlavská Street between the intersections with Netroufalky and Dlouhá Streets will be restricted.
Trolleybus line 25 will operate only in the section Nemocnice Bohunice – Líšeň, Jírova.
• For the section Osová – Nemocnice Bohunice it will be possible to use regular bus and tram lines.
The Stará nemocnice stop of lines 40 and N90 in the direction from the centre will be relocated to a temporary platform in the central dividing strip at the level of the regular stop.

Impassable route – Křenová street

Vehicle failure – stop Juliánov

Please use the following connection.
An alternative tram will depart from the stop Hlavní nádraží.
Impassable road – Rokytova street
UPDATE 16:14: Traffic has been cleared, services are continuing with delays.
The location is currently impassable for all transport in direction to Stará osada/Židenice, kasárna.
An alternative bus will depart from the stop Židenice, kasárna for line 25.
Traffic accident – Nádražní street
Passengers will be transported by an alternative vehicle with delay.
Traffic irregularity – Jihlavská street
UPDATE 16:30: The traffic situation has eased. Connections are running with delays of up to 5 minutes.
Due to increased traffic density, delays are occurring on the lines above.
Traffic irregularity – Bohunická, Sokolova streets
UPDATE 16:30: The traffic situation has eased. Connections are running with delays of up to 5 minutes.
Due to increased traffic density, expect delays of up to 15 minutes on the lines listed.
Traffic irregularity – Židenice and Slatina

Waiting for Emergency services arrival – stop Burianovo náměstí
UPDATE 13:20; Traffic released, lines 3, 10 continue with up to 11 minutes delay.
Backup trams will depart from the stop Česká on lines 3 and 10.
Vehicle failure – stop Konečného náměstí
UPDATE 11:35; Traffic released. Lines 3, 10 and 12 continue with up to 25 minutes delay. Backup vehicles are still dispatched to the affected lines.
UPDATE 11:26; Grohova stop towards center - Repeated vehicle malfunction. Delay of 20-30 minutes.
