Traffic restriction in Vinohrady
Due to final construction work, all traffic on Věstonická Street is likely to be suspended over the weekend of 24 and 25 October 2026.
The disruption will affect lines 25, 27, 78 and N99, which will be diverted via Jedovnická Street on the section between Pálavské náměstí and Novolíšeňská / Malá Klajdovka.

Public transport restrictions in the Žabovřesky and Veveří districts
Over the weekend of 24 and 25 October 2026, tram and bus services in the Žabovřesky and Veveří districts will be restricted due to construction work. The restrictions are planned as follows:
• Repairs to the tram tracks on Konečného náměstí will mainly affect lines 3, 10 and 12, which will be replaced by buses on the section between Česká and Vozovna Komín / Technologický park, as well as night lines N92, N93 and N99, which will be diverted when travelling towards the city centre.
• Repairs to the tram tracks at the junction of Veveří and Mučednická streets will also require diversions on lines 68 and N89.
• Resurfacing work on Rosického náměstí will also affect lines 44, 67 and 84, which will be diverted via the Vrázova stop.

Traffic restrictions on Technická Street
Due to construction work at the intersection of Královopolská and Technická streets, traffic on Technická Street will be restricted to one-way traffic from Wednesday, October 21, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by November 15, 2026).
Bus line 72 in the direction from Technologický Park will take a one-way detour via Hradecká Street in the Podnikatelská – Skácelova section .
• It will not serve the Technická, Horská, and Záhřebská stops in this direction.
• In the opposite direction, it will follow its regular route.
The Záhřebská stop for lines 65 and 72 heading toward Technologický Park will be relocated approximately 85 meters forward.

Transport reinforcement to the Brno Exhibition Centre - Gaudeamus fair
On 20–23 October 2026, a Gaudeamus fair will take place at Brno Exhibition Centre. Public transport to the exhibition centre will be therefore reinforced.
Tram line P1 will operate on the route Hlavní nádraží – Mendlovo náměstí – Výstaviště - hlavní vstup – Pisárky.
• Line P1 will operate from 8:30 to 14:45 on working days 20–23 October 2026.
• Towards the city centre, the stop ARENA BRNO will be served as the first stop.
• Between 14:30 to 17:00 additional buses will be added from Výstaviště to the city center in case of increased demand.
Tram line P2 will operate on the route Stará osada – Hlavní nádraží – Mendlovo náměstí – Výstaviště - hlavní vstup – Pisárky.
• Line P2 will operate on working days 20–23 October 2026 always from 8:45 to 13:15.
• Towards the city centre, the stop ARENA BRNO will be served as the first stop.
• Line P2 will replace connections of line 2 normally terminating at the loop Ústřední hřbitov.

Diversion on the E56 line – both directions
Due to infrastructure renovations, the tunnels Pisárecký and Hlinky will be closed from Monday, October 12, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by November 20, 2026).
Bus line E56 will be rerouted towards Bohunice via Veslařská and Rybnická streets, and towards Královo Pole via Rybnická Street.
• It will not serve the Pisárky stop in either direction.
• Instead, it will serve the Anthropos stop (stop for line 25) in both directions.
Due to these traffic restrictions, significant deviations from the regular schedule are to be expected on this line. Irregularities may also occur on other bus and trolleybus lines in the Pisárky area.

Temporary relocation of the stop Pionýrská towards Královo Pole
Due to repairs on the tram tracks, from 11:00 PM on Sunday, October 11, 2026 until the work is completed (expected by November 13, 2026), the Pionýrská stop for lines 1, 6, N90, and N91 in the direction from the city center will be relocated approximately 130 meters forward to Štefánikova Street.
In connection with the repairs, the Antonínská stop for the N90 and N91 night lines will also be relocated in both directions to the passing lane next to the tram stop.
Boat service restriction
UPDATE: Due to the continuing drop in water levels, this year’s boat service will end early, on Sunday, October 25, 2026. The closing ceremony will take place at 4:30 pm at the Bystrc pier.
Due to a drop in the water level, boat service on the Brno Reservoir will be limited from Saturday, October 10, 2026, until the end of the sailing season on October 31, 2026 on October 25, 2026.
Boats will operate only on the Bystrc – Hrad Veveří section.
• The U kotvy, Mečkov, Skály, and Veverská Bítýška stops will not be served.
• Due to the low water level, wheelchair-accessible boarding cannot be provided at the other served stops!

Temporary suspension of service on line 80
Due to reconstruction of the access road to the Špilberk Castle complex, bus line 80 will be out of service from Thursday, October 1, 2026.
The Hrad Špilberk stop cannot not be served.
Temporary relocation of the stop V aleji
Due to construction work, the V aleji stop for lines 48, 64, š85 and N95 will be relocated from 8:00 AM on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 until the work is completed (expected by mid-November 2026):
• In the direction away from the city center, the stop will be moved approximately 210 meters backward.
• In the direction toward the city center, the stop will be moved approximately 260 meters forward.
Branka Street closure
Due to construction works, the section of Branka Street between the junctions with Kníničská and Hlavní Streets will be closed to all traffic from 4:30 AM on Monday 27 July 2026 until the works are completed (expected by November 2026).
Trolleybus line 30 will operate on a two-way diversion in the Štursova – Podlesí section via Kníničská and Veslařská streets and past the Komín depot.
• It will not serve the Podveská, Svratecká (on Hlavní Street) and Lísky stops.
• On the diversion route, it will serve the stops Hlavní, Vozovna Komín, Svratecká (on Kníničská Street) and Branka (stops on route N89).
Night bus line N93 will operate on a two-way diversion in the Štursova – Kristenova section via Hlavní Street.
• It will not serve the stops Hlavní, Vozovna Komín, Jundrovská, Svratecká (on Kníničská Street) and Lísky.
• On the diversion route, it will serve the stops Podveská and Svratecká (on Hlavní Street).
The N93 night bus will continue to run along its usual route on the morning of Monday 27 July. The disruption measures will come into effect during the night from Monday 27 to Tuesday 28 July.
Due to the diversion of line N93, the direct connections with line N89, N92 and N98 at the Svratecká stop can not be provided. Guaranteed connections during the disruption will be provided as follows:
• Between lines N89 and N93: direct transfers in both directions at the Vrázova stop.
• From line N92 to line N93: when travelling from the city centre, a direct transfer at the Štursova stop; when travelling towards the city centre, two transfers are required – first to line N89 at the Svratecká stop and then to line N93 at the Vrázova stop.
• From line N93 to line N92: when travelling from the city centre, two transfers are required – to line N89 at the Vrázova stop and then to line N92 at the Svratecká stop; when travelling towards the city centre, a direct transfer at the Štursova stop.
• From line N98 to line N93: transfer can not be provided when travelling away from the city centre; when travelling towards the city centre, two transfers are required – to the line N89 at the Svratecká stop and then to the line N93 at the Vrázova stop.
• From line N93 to line N98: when travelling away from the city centre, two transfers are required – to the line N89 at the Vrázova stop and then to the line N98 at the Svratecká stop; when travelling towards the city centre, a direct transfer at the at the Svratecká stopstop (with a short walk from Hlavní Street to Kníničská Street).

Temporary relocation of the stop Obřany, sídlliště towards Obřanský most
Due to ongoing construction work, starting at 7:00 AM on Friday, July 3, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by the end of October 2026), the Obřany, sídliště stop for line x75 in the direction of Obřanský most will be relocated approximately 50 metres to the right onto a parallel road to the regular exit stop.
Change of line 84 platform at Stará osada terminal
Due to construction work on Skopalíkova and Markéty Kuncové streets and operational changes, from March 1, 2026, until the completion of the work (expected by November 30, 2026), line 84 will serve platform no. 8 (regular stop for line 44) for boarding at the Stará osada terminal.

Temporary relocation of the stop Za Lužánkami
UPDATE: From 8:00 AM on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, the Za Lužánkami stop for line 67 towards Jundrov will also be moved approximately 140 meters back before the intersection with Erbenova Street.
Due to construction work, the Za Lužánkami stop is relocated from 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by March 31, 2027):

Fryčajova Street Closure
Due to reconstruction of utility networks and road surfaces, Fryčajova Street in Obřany is closed to all traffic from 6:15 AM on Saturday, November 1, 2025 until completion of the work (expected at least till spring in 2027).
