Due to ongoing work as part of a road resurfacing project, a section of Tilhonova Street will be closed from 7:00 PM on Friday, August 21, 2026, until 7:00 PM on Sunday, August 23, 2026.
Trolleybus lines 33 and P33, as well as night bus line N96, will operate on a two-way detour via Hviezdoslavova and Slavkovská streets on the section between Vozovna Slatina and Langrova stops.
• The Hviezdoslavova stop towards the centre will be served at a relocated location on Hviezdoslavova Street near the Penny Market; in the opposite direction, it will not be possible to serve this stop.
• The Langrova stop towards the centre will be served at a relocated location approximately 70 meters further back; in the direction away from the city center, it will be served at a relocated location on Slavkovská Street before the intersection with Tilhonova Street.
Bus line 75 departing from the Slatina, nádraží / Areál Slatina stops towards Tomkovo náměstí will operate via a detour along Řípská Street on the section between Ericha Roučky and Černovičky stops.
• These services will therefore not serve the Vozovna Slatina stop.
• The Vlárská stop will be served on Řípská Street along with the trolleybus lines.
• In the opposite direction, the regular route will be followed.

Temporary relocation of the stop Ústřední hřbitov towards Jírovcova
Due to construction work, from 7:45 AM on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by the end of August 2026), the Voříškova stop for lines 37 and N97 towards Jírovcova will be relocated approximately 110 meters back, before the intersection with Voříškova Street.
Tram transport restriction in Bystrc
Due to track works, the tram line between Zoologická zahrada and Rakovecká will be closed to traffic from the start of service on Monday 17 August 2026 until the end of service on Wednesday 19 August 2026.
As part of the second phase of the closure on Kníničská Street, tram line 1 will terminate at the stop Pisárky.
Tram lines 3 and 10 will operate on the route Stará osada / Stránská skála – Zoologická zahrada.
During the closure, it will not be possible to serve the tram stops at Přístaviště and Rakovecká.
As an alternative, passengers will be able to use bus line 54, which will be running more frequently, along the entire closed section between Zoologická zahrada – Ečerova.

Tram service restriction in Kníničská Street – phase 2
Due to ongoing reconstruction work on the tram track, tram services on Kníničská Street near the Vozovna Komín stop will be restricted from Monday 17 August 2026 until the work is completed (expected by the end of August 2026).
Tram line 1 will only operate on the Řečkovice – Pisárky route.
• The stop Pisárky will be served for both boarding and alighting at the tram turning loop.
• On the Pisárky – Vozovna Komín section, the service will be replaced by bus line x1.
• On the Vozovna Komín – Rakovecká section, the service will be replaced by regular services on lines 3 and 10.
Tram line 3 will operate on its usual route between Stará osada – Rakovecká.
Tram line 10 will operate on its usual route between Stránská skála – loop – Rakovecká.
• Line 10 will return to its usual route via Veveří and Minská streets.
During the closure, it will not be possible to serve the tram stops Pisárky (under the bridge), Bráfova, Stránského and Komín loop.
During the second phase of the Kníničská closure, lines 3 and 10 will serve the stop Vozovna Komín at their usual locations.

Bus service restricion in Horní Heršpice
Due to water main works, traffic at the roundabout at the junction of Kšírova and Sokolova streets will be restricted from 23:00 on Thursday 13 August 2026 until 23:00 on Wednesday 19 August 2026.
Bus lines 49, 50, E50 and N94 travelling from Komárov on the Komárov – Horní Heršpice section will be diverted via Hněvkovského and Sokolova streets.
• They will therefore not serve the stop Kšírova.
• They will serve the stop Komárov on Hněvkovského Street.
• The stop Horní Heršpice will be served at a relocated position on Sokolova Street (approx. 140 metres before the roundabout).
• Lines 49, 50 and N94 will also serve the stop Hněvkovského on the diversion route.

Bus service restriction at the stop Kohoutovice, hájenka
Due to road resurfacing, traffic will be restricted on a section of Žebětínská Street near the bus stop Kohoutovice, hájenka from 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by 4:30 a.m. on Monday, August 24, 2026).

Service restriction on Tilhonova Street – EXTENDED
UPDATE 18. 8. 5:30: Based on the latest information from the contractor, the closure has been extended until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21.
Due to extensive road resurfacing works, traffic at the junction of Tilhonova and Hviezdoslavova streets will be restricted from 5:15 AM on Wednesday 12 August until 6:00 AM on Tuesday 18 August 2026.
Bus line 75 travelling towards Tomkovo náměstí will be diverted via Řípská Street on the section between Ericha Roučky and Černovičky.
• It will therefore not serve the stop Vozovna Slatina.
• It will serve the stop Vlárská on Řípská Street alongside the trolleybus routes.
• In the opposite direction, it will follow its usual route.
The stop Hviezdoslavova for services 33, P33 and N96 heading towards the city centre will be relocated to the service road behind Penny Market.

Temporary cancellation of service at the Adamcova stop
Due to construction work, from Monday, August 3, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by September 6, 2026), it will not be possible to turn left off the Stará dálnice Street towards Vejrostova Street.
Bus lines 50 and E50 towards Bystrc will be rerouted from the Štouračova stop along the Stará dálnice Street and through the roundabout at the intersection of Vejrostova, Nad Kašnou, and Odbojářská streets.
• The Adamcova stop in the direction from Kohoutovice will not be served by line 50.
• In the opposite direction, the lines will follow their regular route and serve the Adamcova stop.

Branka Street closure
Due to construction works, the section of Branka Street between the junctions with Kníničská and Hlavní Streets will be closed to all traffic from 4:30 AM on Monday 27 July 2026 until the works are completed (expected by November 2026).
Trolleybus line 30 will operate on a two-way diversion in the Štursova – Podlesí section via Kníničská and Veslařská streets and past the Komín depot.
• It will not serve the Podveská, Svratecká (on Hlavní Street) and Lísky stops.
• On the diversion route, it will serve the stops Hlavní, Vozovna Komín, Svratecká (on Kníničská Street) and Branka (stops on route N89).
Night bus line N93 will operate on a two-way diversion in the Štursova – Kristenova section via Hlavní Street.
• It will not serve the stops Hlavní, Vozovna Komín, Jundrovská, Svratecká (on Kníničská Street) and Lísky.
• On the diversion route, it will serve the stops Podveská and Svratecká (on Hlavní Street).
The N93 night bus will continue to run along its usual route on the morning of Monday 27 July. The disruption measures will come into effect during the night from Monday 27 to Tuesday 28 July.

• From line N93 to line N98: when travelling away from the city centre, two transfers are required – to the line N89 at the Vrázova stop and then to the line N98 at the Svratecká stop; when travelling towards the city centre, a direct transfer at the at the Svratecká stopstop (with a short walk from Hlavní Street to Kníničská Street).

Temporary relocation of the stop Hybešova
Due to construction work, starting at 7:00 AM on Monday, July 20, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by mid-September 2026), the Hybešova stop will be relocated:
• In the direction away from the city center approximately 110 meters forward (with the exception of line N97, which will continue to serve the stop at its original position).
• In the direction towards the city center approximately 100 meters forward.
Transport restriction in Vinohrady
Due to extensive road resurfacing work, traffic will be restricted on a section of Věstonická Street from 4:45 AM on Monday, July 13, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by the end of August 2026).
Lines 25, 27, 78, and N99 will not serve the Bořetická and Mutěnická stops in the direction of Pálavské náměstí.
• Passengers can use the Čejkovická and Pálavské náměstí stops as alternatives.
• In the direction from Pálavské náměstí to Novolíšeňská, all stops will be served without restrictions.

Seasonal operation of line H4
From Saturday 4 July 2026, line H4 operated by historic tram will be in service on weekends and public holidays.
Line H4 follows the route Komenského náměstí – Česká – Náměstí Svobody – Zelný trh – Hlavní nádraží – Nové sady – Hybešova – Václavská – Mendlovo náměstí.
On line H4, standard tariff of IDS JMK applies with exception of transporting bikes and heavy luggage, which is forbidden in historic vehicles. The historic tram operating on this line is not equipped with a ticket vending machine. Operation is expected till Monday September 28 2026.

Temporary relocation of the stop Obřany, sídlliště towards Obřanský most
Due to ongoing construction work, starting at 7:00 AM on Friday, July 3, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by the end of October 2026), the Obřany, sídliště stop for line x75 in the direction of Obřanský most will be relocated approximately 50 metres to the right onto a parallel road to the regular exit stop.
Bus transport restriction in the Kamechy housing estate
Due to the relocation of utility lines in connection with the construction of a tram line, from 6:45 AM on Saturday, June 27, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by the end of August 2026), a part of Kamechy Street (between the intersections with Hostislavova and Žabí Streets) will be closed to all traffic.
Bus lines 52 and N98 will be diverted in both directions via Listnatá Street between the Říčanská and Žebětínský rybník stops.
• The Kavčí, Chvalovka, and Kamechy stops will not be served.
• The Říčanská stop will be served in both directions at a relocated position on Říčanská Street in front of the Albert supermarket.
• Buses on line N98 that normally terminate at the Kamechy stop will follow their regular route.

Due to tram track reconstruction, tram service will be suspended on the Kubíčkova – Ečerova section from Saturday, June 27, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by the end of August 2026).

• The stops Kubíčkova, Ondrouškova, and Ečerova will not be served.

Trolleybus line 21 will operate on the Olomoucká – u školy – Brněnky section via a two-way detour along Těžební, Vlastimila Pecha, and Švédské valy streets .

Tram service restriction at Ečerova terminus
UPDATE: From Saturday, June 27, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by the end of August 2026), tram service will be suspended on the Ečerova–Kubíčkova section. Tram lines 1 and 3 (and, due to additional construction work, line 10 as well) will therefore terminate at the Bystrc, Rakovecká stop. Replacement service on the affected section will be provided by an additional bus on line 54.

While travelling by line 1 from the city center to the western part of Bystrc and the Kamechy housing estate in the evening, we recommend transferring to bus lines 52 and 54 at the Zoologická zahrada terminal.

Impassable road – Bednářova street
UPDATE 18:20; Traffic released, line 49 is returning to it's regular route.
The location is currently impassable for all transport. Line 49 is diverted through Vídeňská street. Section Přízřenice - Modřice is served by connections terminated at Přízřenice stop. Section Horní Heršpice - Přízřenice remains unserved.
Other incident – stop Zoologická zahrada
The connection at 14:46 from the stop Zoologická zahrada towards Stará osada cannot be ensured. Please use the following connection.
Impassable route – Palackého třída street
UPDATE 14:42; Traffic released, lines 1 and 6 are returning to their regular routes.
UPDATE 14:32; Lines 1 and 6 heading towards the centre are diverted through the Technologický park stop and further through Kounicova and Veveří streets, therefore skipping all stops in section Husitská - Moravské náměstí.
UPDATE 14:28; An alternative vehicles will depart from the Malinovského náměstí stop on line 1 and from the Česká stop on line 6.

Impassable road – Kšírova street
UPDATE 14:26; Traffic completely released. Traffic irregulatirites are ocurring in the whole lenght of line 49 due to poor traffic conditions in Horní Heršpice and Komárov.
UPDATE 13:50; Traffic was partially resumed, line 49 returns to it's regular route. Traffic irregularities and unserved connections are still to be expected.
UPDATE 12:55: Bus line 49 is being rerouted in both directions between the Horní Heršpice and Modřice, Masarykova stops via Vídeňská street. Stops along the Havránkova–Modřice, Žižkova sections are not being served! Routes traveling to and from Přízřenice are also being rerouted. They will serve the section from Přízřenice to the loop–Modřice–Žižkova, and then continue along the detour via Vídňská Street.
