Scheduled events
Transport reinforcement to Vranov
In view of the expected increased demand for transport, transport to Vranov will be increased on non-working days from December 25, 2025, to January 1, 2026, and also on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2025.
Between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., all connections of line x41 will be extended to Vranov, meaning that connections will not start or end at the Lelekovice, u kříže stop.
• Connections departing from Globus between 9:08 a.m. and 3:08 p.m. will run via the Vranov, křižovatka stop to the Vranov, myslivna stop, and will not serve the Vranov, smyčka stop.
• Connections departing from Vranov between 9:23 a.m. and 4:23 p.m. will run from the Vranov, myslivna stop via the Vranov, křižovatka stop to the Vranov, smyčka stop and then continue on their route to Brno.
• From the Vranov, smyčka and Lelekovice, u kříže stops, departures towards Ivanovice, Globus will depart 1 minute earlier than the regular timetable during the above-mentioned period.
Public transport operation during Christmas and New Year
On December 22, 23, 29, and 30, 2025, and January 2, 2026, public transport lines will run according to the timetables for working days – holidays.
On Christmas Eve, December 24, 2025, all lines will run according to the Saturday timetable until approximately 3:00 p.m. After that, daytime lines will gradually cease operation and only night bus lines will continue to run, connecting at the Hlavní nádraží stop at 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM – 9:30 PM – 10:00 PM – 10:30 PM – 11:00 PM and then continue with regular night service.
Line 78 will not serve the Modřice, Decathlon, and Modřice, XXXLutz stops.
On December 25 and 26, 2025, and January 1, 2026, all lines will operate according to the Saturday timetable.
Due to the closure of shopping centers, line 78 will not serve the Modřice, Decathlon, and Modřice, XXXLutz stops.
In view of the expected reduced demand for transport, the following additional night line connections will not be provided:
• departures of line N89 at 4:58 and 5:28 AM on the route Hlavní nádraží – Areál Slatina
• departures of line N99 at 5:05, 5:35, 6:05 and 6:35 AM on the route Čejkovická – Hlavní nádraží
On December 27 and 28, 2025, and January 3 and 4, 2026, all lines will operate according to the Saturday timetables.
On New Year's Eve, December 31, 2025, all lines will run according to the Saturday timetable until approximately 8:00 PM After that, daytime lines will gradually cease operation and only night bus lines will continue to run, connecting at the Hlavní nádraží stop at 9:00 PM, 9:30 PM, 10:00 PM, 10:30 PM, and 11:00 PM, and then continuing with regular night service.
Night bus lines will also be reinforced by special connections on lines 1, 4, 7, 8, 10, 12, 33, and N99 (departures from the Hlavní nádraží stop at 9:15 PM – 9:45 PM – 10:15 PM – 10:45 PM – 11:15 PM – 11:45 PM – 12:25 AM – 12:55 AM – 1:55 AM – 2:55 AM) on the following routes:
• Line 1 along its entire route.
• Line 4 along its entire route.
• Line 7 on the route Starý Lískovec, smyčka – Lesná, Čertova rokle (in the section Malinovského náměstí – Jugoslávská via a detour along Milady Horákové Street); at the Hlavní nádraží stop, it will depart from platform 3 in the direction of Starý Lískovec.
• Line 8 on the route Líšeň, Mifkova – Hlavní nádraží.
• Line 10 on the route Hlavní nádraží – Vozovna Komín (in the section Hlavní nádraží – Česká via a detour along Husova Street); at the Hlavní nádraží stop, it will depart from platform 1 in the direction of Komín.
• Line 12 on the entire route.
• Line 33 on the entire route. (After approximately 9 PM, line 33 will depart from platform no. 4 at the Hlavní nádraží stop (i.e., the stop for tram lines 8 and 12 in front of the station building))
• Additional N99 line connections in the Pálavské náměstí – Hlavní nádraží section.
From Monday, January 5, 2025, public transport will operate according to the timetables for working days.

Public transport changes from 20 December 2025
From Saturday, December 20, 2025, there will be changes to the timetables of selected tram, trolleybus, and bus lines. At the same time, selected long-term closures will end and other changes to the organization of operations will take place.
End of closure on Údolní Street
Tram line 4 returns to its regular route Náměstí Míru – Obřany, Babická.
Trolleybus lines 38 and 39 return to their regular routes via Údolní Street to Komenského náměstí.
The x4 replacement bus service will be terminated.
Bus line 68 will operate on the route (Myslivna –) Pisárky – Náměstí Míru – Klusáčkova – NC Královo Pole.

Night bus line N89 will return to its regular route via Údolní Street in the section Šilingrovo náměstí – Náměstí Míru.
Night bus line N95 will return to its regular route via Údolní Street in the section Hlavní nádraží – Žlutý kopec.
• In the direction of the main railway station, it will continue from Komenského náměstí via the Česká and Malinovského náměstí stops.
• In the direction from the main railway station, it will follow its original route via Šilingrovo náměstí and Komenského náměstí.
End of Phase II restrictions on Jihlavská Street
Bus line 40 and night bus lines N90 and N91 heading towards the city center will return to their regular routes on Jihlavská Street along the Central Cemetery.
The measures introduced as part of the first stage of restrictions on Jihlavská Street concerning line 25 and the relocation of the Stará nemocnice stop remain in force (expected until mid-May 2026). In addition, it will not be possible to serve the Uzbecká stop with lines 40 and N90.
Change in service at CTP Office Park Spielberk
Bus line 40 will run in both directions between Ústřední hřbitov and Křídlovická directly along Heršpická Street, serving the Strážní stop.
• Therefore the Holandská and Bidláky stops will not be served.
The Spielberk office center will be served by circular bus lines 44 and 84 with a detour in the section Křídlovická – Opuštěná.
• Both lines will serve the Strážní stop (currently the Holandská stop of line 40 towards Studentská) and Holandská (stop of line 40 towards Tuřany) in this order.

Other changes
In connection with the completion of construction work on Vinohrady Street, bus line 62 will resume operation on weekdays on the route Červený kopec – Mendlovo náměstí.
Bus line 65 will be extended from the Technologický park stop to the Záhřebská stop only on weekdays.
• The new section will serve a semi-circular route: Technologický park » Edisonova » Podnikatelská » Záhřebská » Horská » Technická » Podnikatelská » Kolejní » Vědeckotechnický park » Technologický park.

A new bus line 66 will be introduced on the route Haškova – Blažkova – Halasovo náměstí.
• The line will only operate during peak hours on working days (the line will therefore be in operation from January 5, 2026).
Changes to stops
The Holandská stop on the service road next to the Hornbach hobby market will be renamed to Strážní.
In the Sadová district, a new stop called Jarmily Kurandové will be established for lines 30 and N93 in the direction of Soběšice on Kociánka Street next to the Albert supermarket.
The Bidláky stop will not be served in neither direction.

Temporary cancellation of service at the Uzbecká stop
Due to construction work, from 11:00 p.m. on December 19, 2025, until the work is completed (expected by mid-May 2026), it will not be possible to serve the Uzbecká stop on lines 40 and N90 in the direction of Nemocnice Bohunice.
Bus transport restriction in Česká and Lelekovice
Due to the emergency condition of the bridge over the railway line, traffic between Česká and Lelekovice will be restricted from 4:00 a.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025, until further notice.
Bus line 41 will only operate between Královo Pole, nádraží – Mácova (– Ivanovice, Globus).
Replacement transport during the day will be provided by bus line x41 on the route (Ivanovice, Globus –) Mácova – Lelekovice (– Vranov).
• Connections going to Mácova and from Globus will serve the following stops in Ivanovice in order (Česká, Nádavky ») Příjezdová » Kouty » Mácova, connections going to Globus in order (Česká, Nádavky ») Mácova » Kouty » Příjezdová.
• Outside of morning and afternoon rush hours, connections to Vranov will terminate at the Vranov, smyčka stop, so the Vranov, křižovatka and Vranov, myslivna stops will not be served.
Night bus line N91 services running regularly from/to Lelekovice will only run on the section Labská – Mácova and then be diverted to the stop Ivanovice, Globus.
Replacement transport during the night will be provided by bus line x91 on the route Mácova – Lelekovice, u kříže.
Lines 41 and N91 will only serve Ivanovice in a counterclockwise direction, in both directions and all route variants, serving the stops in order Mácova » Kouty » Příjezdová (regular stops towards city centre).
With the exception of connections to Ivanovice, Globus, line x41 will operate clockwise in Ivanovice and will serve the stops in order Příjezdová » Kouty » Mácova (regular stops towards Lelekovice).
Interchange between lines 41 and x41, or N91 and x91, will be possible at the Mácova stop.

Fryčajova Street Closure
Due to reconstruction of utility networks and road surfaces, Fryčajova Street in Obřany is closed to all traffic from 6:15 AM on Saturday, November 1, 2025 until completion of the work (expected at least till spring in 2027).
All tram line 4 connections run to the Obřany, Babická stop.
• Selected connections will no longer terminate at the Maloměřický most stop.
Bus line 57 only operates between Vranov, smyčka and Maloměřický most.
• Selected connections will no longer terminate at the Obřany, sídliště stop in the morning.
Bus line 75 only operates on the section (Slatina, nádraží –) Vozovna Slatina – Tomkovo náměstí.
• In the direction from Slatina, it runs from the Židenice, kasárna stop via the Karlova and Maloměřický most stops to the Tomkovo náměstí stop.
• In the direction to Slatina, it runs from Tomkovo náměstí (stop for line 84 in the direction of Stará osada) directly to the Židenice, kasárna stop and then continue along the usual route.
• Between Maloměřice, Obřany, and Bílovice nad Svitavou, lines 4 and x75 are available as a replacement.
Replacement transport is provided by the special midibus line x75 on the route Obřanský most – Hradiska – Obřany, sídliště (– Bílovice nad Svitavou, železniční stanice).
• The Hradiska stop are located at the upper end of the street of the same name in both directions.
• In the section Obřany, sídliště – Bílovice nad Svitavou, železniční stanice, the bus follows the route and stops of line 75.
The night bus line N94 terminates at the Obřany, Babická stop.
• Selected connections no longer run to Bílovice nad Svitavou.
The Hlaváčova and Bílovická stops are completely out of service during the closure.
Due to the limited capacity of the x75 minibus line and the significantly longer travel time, we recommend primarily using the S2 railway line for travel between Brno and Bílovice nad Svitavou, with a transfer to bus lines x75 and 211 at the Bílovice nad Svitavou, železniční stanice stop.
During the closure, minor changes to the measures in place may occur as part of the individual stages of construction work.
UPDATE November 26, 2025: From the night of Friday, November 28 to Saturday, November 29, 2025, a night minibus line x94 is launched.
The night bus line x94 runs along the route Brno, Tomkovo náměstí (connection with line N94) – Ochoz u Brna – Kanice – Řícmanice – Bílovice nad Svitavou – Brno, Obřany, sídliště.
• From the stop Obřany, sídliště in the direction of Brno, connections depart from the signpost in the direction of Bílovice nad Svitavou.
• In Bílovice nad Svitavou, buses stop opposite the x75 line at stops in the opposite direction.
• Only buses specified in the timetable stop at the stops Ochoz u Brna, Kanice, and Řícmanice; other buses travel between Brno, Tomkovo náměstí and Bílovice nad Svitavou, UP závody without stopping.
Line x94 also replaces selected connections on line x75 during off-peak hours.
Fare measures:
• When traveling on line x94 between stops in fare zone 100, holders of the relevant season ticket do not pay the fare for zones 210 and 215; a season ticket for zone 100 is sufficient.
• When traveling on line x94 between fare zones 100 and 215, holders of the relevant prepaid ticket do not pay the fare for zone 210; a prepaid ticket for zones 100 and 215 is sufficient.
• Passengers with a single-use ticket pay the fare according to the fare zones actually traveled.
• On this line, except for the stops Tomkovo náměstí and Obřany, sídliště, passengers board exclusively through the front door, with the driver checking or selling tickets.

Tram service restriction at Ečerova terminus
Due to construction work at the Ečerova loop in connection with the construction of a new tram line to the Kamechy housing estate, there are changes to tram service in Bystrc from Saturday, October 18, 2025, until the completion of works (expected by the end of August 2026).
Tram line 1 operates in the Řečkovice – Přístaviště section and then is diverted to the Rakovecká loop.
• The Kubíčkova, Ondrouškova, and Ečerova stops are not served.
As a replacement, tram line 3 is extended to the Ečerova stop.
• The Rakovecká loop is not served.
• On the extended route, the Kubíčkova and Ondrouškova stops are served.
• The Ečerova stop is served for both boarding and alighting in the location of the current exit stop.
Other lines in the area remain unchanged.
While travelling by line 1 from the city center to the western part of Bystrc and the Kamechy housing estate in the evening, we recommend transferring to bus lines 52 and 54 at the Zoologická zahrada terminal.

Traffic restriction in Jihlavská Street – 1st phase
Due to the construction works, from Monday 30 June 2025 until the completion of the works (expected by 20 May 2026) the traffic in Jihlavská Street between the intersections with Netroufalky and Dlouhá Streets will be restricted.
Trolleybus line 25 will operate only in the section Nemocnice Bohunice – Líšeň, Jírova.
• For the section Osová – Nemocnice Bohunice it will be possible to use regular bus and tram lines.
The Stará nemocnice stop of lines 40 and N90 in the direction from the centre will be relocated to a temporary platform in the central dividing strip at the level of the regular stop.
