Ignis Brunensis – fireworks at the Brno dam

As a part of the Ignis Brunensis festival, a traditional competitive fireworks show will take place above the Brno dam. Fireworks will be set off on Saturday 10 June, Wednesday 14 June, Saturday 17 June and Wednesday 21 June 2023 always at 22:30. Following measures will therefore be taken on these days:

Approximately from 18:30, operation on lines 1, 3, 10 (on the route Novolíšeňská – Rakovecká), 30 and 50 will be reinforced towards Bystrc. In addition, reinforcement tram lines will operate: Line P1 on the route Komárov – Hlavní nádraží – Mendlovo náměstí – Pisárky – Vozovna Komín – Přístaviště (– Ečerova) and line P9 on the route Čertova rokle – Jugoslávská – Česká – Tábor – Vozovna Komín – Přístaviště (– Ečerova).
• Selected connections of lines 3 and 10 will be extended to Ečerova, reinforcement connections on line 30 will terminate at the stop Zoologická zahrada.

Operation on lines 1, 3, 4, 10, 30 and 50 will be extended approximately till 0:30. Extraordinary reinforcement connections will be provided also on regional lines 302 and 303.

After the fireworks show, operation on lines 1, 3, 10 (on the route Přístaviště – Novolíšeňská), 30 and 50 will be reinforced in the direction from Bystrc. In addition, reinforcement tram lines will operate: Line P1 on the route Přístaviště – Vozovna Komín – Pisárky – Mendlovo náměstí – Hlavní nádraží (– Komárov) and line P9 on the route Přístaviště – Vozovna Komín – Tábor – Česká – Jugoslávská – Čertova rokle.
• Line 10 between the stops Česká and Hlavní nádraží will be extraordinarily diverted via Šilingrovo náměstí.

At 0:30, an extraordinary connection of night bus lines at Hlavní nádraží will be provided (departure only).

 Due to the preparation of reinforcement trams, tram operation between the stops Ečerova and Přístaviště towards the city centre will be interrupted from 22:25. The stops Ečerova, Ondrouškova, Kubíčkova and Rakovecká will not be served in the mentioned direction, it is possible to use night bus line N98 instead (attention, line N98 will be diverted through Odbojářská street). Towards Ečerova, tram operation will remain maintained.

 From 22:15 to 23:45, due to the closure of nearby streets, night bus line N98 towards Hlavní nádraží will be diverted from the stop Ondrouškova through Odbojářská street. Therefore it will skip the stops Kubíčkova, Rakovecká, Přístaviště and Zoologická zahrada, while it will serve the stops Wollmanova, Laštůvkova, Vondrákova and Náměstí 28.dubna instead.

 From 22:45 to 0:00, the rail crossing at the stop Kamenolom will be closed. Affected connections of line 30 (provided by partial trolleybuses or buses) will be diverted through Kníničská street, skipping the stops Podlesí and Kamenolom. From the stop Podlesí (transfer from trams from Bystrc), reinforcement connections of line 30 will be added after the fireworks show. Regional bus line 302 will depart from the stop Pod Mniší horou.

 Considering the expected traffic irregularities, the transfer connection of lines N89, N92, N93 and N99 at the stop Svratecká towards Hlavní nádraží will not be guaranteed from 22:30 to 0:00.
