UPDATE 12:52: The police lockdown has been lifted! Diversions on all tram lines have ended, and services are returning to their standard routes. The replacement tram service in the section Křídlovická – Vsetínská has been cancelled. Please expect continued irregularities.

 

Due to the discovery of an explosive device and a subsequent police lockdown, the area is currently impassable.

The transfer point for all tram lines (except line 9) is at the Česká stop. Transfer point to line 9 is at the Malinovského náměstí stop (served by lines 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14).

The following diversions are in place (all diversions apply to both directions):

  • Line 1: In the section Malinovského náměstí – Mendlovo náměstí, it is diverted via the stops Česká, Šilingrovo náměstí, and Nemocnice u sv. Anny. It skips the section Hlavní nádraží – Václavská.

  • Line 2: In the section Malinovského náměstí – Poříčí, it is diverted via the stops Česká, Šilingrovo náměstí, Nemocnice u sv. Anny, and Mendlovo náměstí. It skips the section Hlavní nádraží – Václavská.

  • Line 7: In the section Malinovského náměstí – Krematorium, it is diverted via the Česká stop, through Husova and Pekařská streets, via the Mendlovo náměstí stop, and through Vídeňská street. It skips the section Hlavní nádraží – Vsetínská.

  • Line 8: In the section Hlavní nádraží (serves platforms 5 and 6) – Krematorium, it is diverted via the Česká stop, through Husova and Pekařská streets, via the Mendlovo náměstí stop, and through Vídeňská street. It skips the section Hlavní nádraží – Vsetínská. Alternative service for lines 7 and 8 is provided by a replacement tram in the section Křídlovická – Vsetínská.

  • Line 9: Between the stops Moravské náměstí and Hlavní nádraží (serves platforms 5 and 6), it runs via the Malinovského náměstí stop. It skips the section Česká – Nové sady.

  • Line 10: Between the stops Česká and Hlavní nádraží (serves platforms 5 and 6), it runs via the Malinovského náměstí stop. It skips the section Šilingrovo náměstí – Nové sady.

  • Line 14: In the section Malinovského náměstí – Komenského náměstí, it is diverted via the Česká stop. It skips the section Hlavní nádraží – Šilingrovo náměstí.
