Public transport changes from 1 September 2026
Starting Tuesday, September 1, 2026, new schedules will be in effect on most public transit routes.
• Lines 1–84 will once again operate according to the schedules for workdays.
• Service on bus line 66 and school bus lines š85, š86, and š88 will resume.
As of Tuesday, September 1, 2026, selected service restrictions will be lifted:
Resumption of tram service to the Ečerova loop
• Line 1 will resume its full regular route from Řečkovice to Bystrc, Ečerova; however, service will continue to be limited due to tram track reconstruction on Kníničská Street.
Resumption of tram service on Renneská Street
• Lines 7 and 8 will resume their regular routes along Renneská Street.
End of the closure on Olomoucká Street
• Lines 21, 31, 33, and N96 are returning to their regular routes via the Staré letiště stop.
Resumption of regular bus service in the Kamechy housing estate
• Lines 52 and N98 are returning to their regular routes along Kamechy Street.
• Lines E50 and 54 are returning to their original direction, serving stops in the following order: (Ruda ») Kamechy » Chvalovka » Kavčí » Říčanská (» Ruda).
Effective Tuesday, September 1, 2026, the following changes to service operations will also take effect:
Start of 3rd Phase of tram service restrictions on Kníničská Street
• Service on Lines 1 and 3 will resume along their full regular routes; Line 10 will terminate at the Sochorova stop.
• The Vozovna Komín stop will be served by line 1 at a relocated location; line 3 will not be able to serve this stop.
Changes to stops on Lines 44, 84, and N98 near the Brno Exhibition Center
U ARENY
• A new stop has been established in both directions near the T-Mobile Arena, which is currently under construction.
Riviéra
• In the direction of Mendlovo náměstí, the stop has been relocated to the service road near Gate 7 of the BVV.
• In the direction of Pisárky, no change.
Velodrom
• In the direction of Mendlovo náměstí, the stop has been relocated approximately 350 metres backwards .
• In the direction of Pisárky, no change.
Výstaviště - 4. brána
• In the direction of Mendlovo náměstí, established at the site of the existing Velodrom stop.
• In the direction of Pisárky, newly established behind the roundabout at Gate 4 of the BVV.
Křížkovského
• No changes in either direction.

Changes to Stops on Line x75
To improve connections to Line 4, a new stop Babická will be established on Mlýnské nábřeží near the Makovského footbridge for line x75 towards Obřanský most.
Route Change for Line 161
Line 161 will not serve the Bartolomějská stop when heading toward Nemocnice Bohunice; passengers can use the Žebětín, hřbitov stop as an alternative.
