Public transport changes from 20 December 2025
From Saturday, December 20, 2025, there will be changes to the timetables of selected tram, trolleybus, and bus lines. At the same time, selected long-term closures will end and other changes to the organization of operations will take place.
End of closure on Údolní Street
Tram line 4 returns to its regular route Náměstí Míru – Obřany, Babická.
Trolleybus lines 38 and 39 return to their regular routes via Údolní Street to Komenského náměstí.
The x4 replacement bus service will be terminated.
Bus line 68 will operate on the route (Myslivna –) Pisárky – Náměstí Míru – Klusáčkova – NC Královo Pole.

Night bus line N89 will return to its regular route via Údolní Street in the section Šilingrovo náměstí – Náměstí Míru.
Night bus line N95 will return to its regular route via Údolní Street in the section Hlavní nádraží – Žlutý kopec.
• In the direction of the main railway station, it will continue from Komenského náměstí via the Česká and Malinovského náměstí stops.
• In the direction from the main railway station, it will follow its original route via Šilingrovo náměstí and Komenského náměstí.
End of Phase II restrictions on Jihlavská Street
Bus line 40 and night bus lines N90 and N91 heading towards the city center will return to their regular routes on Jihlavská Street along the Central Cemetery.
The measures introduced as part of the first stage of restrictions on Jihlavská Street concerning line 25 and the relocation of the Stará nemocnice stop remain in force (expected until mid-May 2026). In addition, it will not be possible to serve the Uzbecká stop with lines 40 and N90.
Change in service at CTP Office Park Spielberk
Bus line 40 will run in both directions between Ústřední hřbitov and Křídlovická directly along Heršpická Street, serving the Strážní stop.
• Therefore the Holandská and Bidláky stops will not be served.
The Spielberk office center will be served by circular bus lines 44 and 84 with a detour in the section Křídlovická – Opuštěná.
• Both lines will serve the Strážní stop (currently the Holandská stop of line 40 towards Studentská) and Holandská (stop of line 40 towards Tuřany) in this order.

Other changes
In connection with the completion of construction work on Vinohrady Street, bus line 62 will resume operation on weekdays on the route Červený kopec – Mendlovo náměstí.
Bus line 65 will be extended from the Technologický park stop to the Záhřebská stop only on weekdays.
• The new section will serve a semi-circular route: Technologický park » Edisonova » Podnikatelská » Záhřebská » Horská » Technická » Podnikatelská » Kolejní » Vědeckotechnický park » Technologický park.

A new bus line 66 will be introduced on the route Haškova – Blažkova – Halasovo náměstí.
• The line will only operate during peak hours on working days (the line will therefore be in operation from January 5, 2026).
Changes to stops
The Holandská stop on the service road next to the Hornbach hobby market will be renamed to Strážní.
In the Sadová district, a new stop called Jarmily Kurandové will be established for lines 30 and N93 in the direction of Soběšice on Kociánka Street next to the Albert supermarket.
The Bidláky stop will not be served in neither direction.
