Service restriction in Husova and Pekařská streets
Due to works on the tram tracks at the Šilingrovo and Komenského náměstí, tram service on Husova and Pekařská streets will be suspended from 7:05 am on Saturday 17 October 2026 until 6:00 pm on Sunday 18 October 2026.
Tram lines 5 and 6 will operate on a two-way diversion between Moravské náměstí and Poříčí via náměstí Svobody and Hybešova Street.
• They will not serve the stops Šilingrovo náměstí, Nemocnice u sv. Anny and Mendlovo náměstí.
• On the diversion route, it will serve the Náměstí Svobody, Zelný trh, Hlavní nádraží (nástupiště č. 7 a 8), Nové sady, Hybešova and Václavská.
• The Česká stop will be served in both directions in front of St Thomas’s Church (platforms 5 and 6).
Morning and evening services on tram line 10, departing from the Česká stop towards Stránská skála - smyčka, will stop for passengers to board at the stop in front of St Thomas’s Church, towards Moravské náměstí (platform 6).
Tram line 12 will operate on a two-way diversion between Česká and Hlavní nádraží via náměstí Svobody.
• It will therefore not serve the Šilingrovo náměstí and Nové sady stops.
• On the diversion route, it will serve the Náměstí Svobody and Zelný trh stops.
• The Česká stop, in the direction of Komárov, will be served both at its usual location on Česká Street (platform 3) and also on Joštova Street (platform 2).
• The Hlavní nádraží stop will be served on platform 1 in the direction of Technologický park, and on platform 2 in the direction of Komárov.
Replacement transport will be provided by bus line x6 on the route Česká – Mendlovo náměstí – Poříčí.
• In the direction of Poříčí, it will serve the stops Česká, Šilingrovo náměstí, Nemocnice u sv. Anny, Mendlovo náměstí (stop for line 6) and Poříčí.
• In the direction of Česká, it will serve the stops Poříčí, Mendlovo náměstí (stop for line 6), Obilní trh, Komenského náměstí and Česká.
Night bus line N89, N92, N93, N95 and N99 running on the night of 17 to 18 October 2026 will be diverted from the Hlavní nádraží stop via náměstí Svobody.
• When travelling from the city centre towards Česká / Komenského náměstí, they will not serve the Šilingrovo náměstí stop.
• As a replacement, they will stop at the Zelný trh stop
• Towards Hlavní nádraží stop, buses by lines N89, N92, N93 and N99 will run from the Česká / Komenského náměstí stop along the usual route via Husova Street; they will serve the Šilingrovo náměstí stop from a relocated position in the overtaking lane at the level of the tram stop, buses by line N95 will follow its usual route along Roosevelt Street.
