Traffic Nostalgia 2026
On the weekend of 13-14 June 2026, as part of the Ignis Brunensis festival, the traditional Transport Nostalgia will take place with the participation of retro vehicles of the Brno City Transport Company and historic vehicles from the collections of the Technical Museum in Brno.
Saturday 13 June 2026
• From 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM there will be an exhibition of historic trams and buses on Náměstí Svobody and trolleybuses on Brandlova Street.
• Starting at 11:00 AM, individual vehicles will line up for the nostalgic lines:
The horse-drawn tram will run on the circular route Náměstí Svobody – Masarykova – Benešova – Rooseveltova – Rašínova – Náměstí Svobody.

• Interval: 60 minutes
• fare: 300 CZK
The steam tram will run on the route Náměstí Svobody – Rašínova – Rooseveltova – Nádražní – Hybešova – Výstaviště - hl. vstup – Hlinky – Pisárky and back.
• boarding and alighting only at the stops Náměstí Svobody, Výstaviště - hl. vstup and Pisárky
• Interval: 90 minutes
• one-way fare: 300 CZK, return fare: 500 CZK
Electric trams will run on the same route as the steam tram.
• boarding and alighting only at the stops Náměstí Svobody, Výstaviště - hl. vstup and Pisárky
• Interval: 15 minutes
• one-way fare: 80 CZK, ticket for 2 rides: 150 CZK, discounted ticket for 6 rides: 350 CZK (electric trams, trolleybuses and buses)
The trolleybuses will run on the route Česká – Kounicova – Botanická – Skácelova – Královopolská – Hlavní – Veslařská – Hlinky – Výstaviště - hlavní vstup and immidiately back following the route Výstaviště - hlavní vstup – Mendlovo náměstí – Hlinky – Pisárky – Veslařská – Hlavní – Královopolská – Skácelova – Botanická – Kounicova – Česká.

• one-way fare: 80 CZK, ticket for 2 rides: 150 CZK, discounted ticket for 6 rides: 350 CZK (electric trams, trolleybuses and buses)
Buses will run on the route Náměstí Svobody – Rašínova – Údolní – Úvoz – Mendlovo náměstí – Výstaviště - hl. vstup – Hlinky – Veslařská – Žabovřeská – Pisárky, in the opposite direction Pisárky – Hlinky – Výstaviště - hl. vstup – Křížová – Poříčí – Nádražní – Masarykova – Náměstí Svobody.

Nostalgia lines will operate from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

• interval: 60 minutes
• one-way fare: 300 CZK, return fare: 500 CZK
Electric trams will run on the same route as the steam tram.
