Traffic restrictions on Olomoucká and Životského streets
Due to repairs to the tram tracks, tram service will be limited on the bridge over the Svitava River and on Životského Street:
• On Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 7:05 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• On Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 7:05 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Tram line 8 will be divided into two separate sections: Nemocnice Bohunice – Masná and Geislerova – Mifkova.
• It will therefore skip the stop Životského.
Tram line 9 will only operate on the route Čertova rokle – Masná.
• It will not serve stops in the section Životského – Juliánov.
• Replacement bus service line x9 will be introduced in the excluded section.
Tram line 10 will be divided into two separate sections: Vozovna Komín – Hlavní nádraží and Geislerova – Stránská skála.
• In the direction from Komín, it will run from the stop Česká along a semi-circular route through Masarykova, Benešova, and Rooseveltova streets, serving the stops Náměstí Svobody, Zelný trh, Hlavní nádraží (2nd track), Malinovského náměstí, and then back to Komín.
• In both directions, it will skip the stops Vlhká, Masná, and Životského, and will only serve the stops Hlavní nádraží and Malinovského náměstí in the direction from Hlavní nádraží to Česká (the Hlavní nádraží stop will be served on the 2nd track).
Replacement transport will be provided by special bus line x9 on the route Masná (stop for lines 64 and 67 towards Komárov) – Životského – Geislerova – Buzkova – Otakara Ševčíka – Dělnický dům – Juliánov.
Measures valid for buses and trolleybuses continuously from 7:05 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025, to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2025:
Trolleybus lines 31 and 33 in the direction of Slatina will serve the stop Masná together with lines 64 and 67 on Masná Street; in the opposite direction, they will not serve the stop Životského, but will instead serve the stop Tržní on Hladíkova Street.
Bus line 64 in the direction of Červený písek will not serve the stop Masná.
Bus line E76 in the direction of the city center will not serve the stop Životského, but will instead serve the stop Tržní on Hladíkova Street.
Night bus lines N89, N96 and N98 in the direction from the city center will serve the stop Masná together with lines 64 and 67 on Masná Street.
• In the direction of the city center, lines N89 and N96 will not serve the stop Životského; instead, they will serve the stop Tržní on Hladíkova Street.
Relocated stops:
• Masná in the direction of the city center: lines 31, 33, and 67 will serve the stop in the passing lane at the tram island (only on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 7:05 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on Sunday, September 28, from 7:05 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
• Životského in the direction of the city center: lines x9, 64, and N98 will serve in a relocated position approximately 100 meters backward on Životského Street
• Životského in the direction away from the city center: lines x9, 64, and N98 will serve in a relocated position approximately 100 meters forward on Životského Street
