Tram and bus restriction on Křenová street
Due to the repair of the tram line, the passage through Křenová street will be excluded on Saturday 25 May 2024 and Sunday 26 May 2024 from 8:30 to 19:30.
Tram line 8 will be divided into two separate sections Nemocnice Bohunice – Hlavní nádraží (– Komárov) and Masná – Mifkova.
• In both directions it will skip the Vlhká stop.
Tram line 9 will be divided into two separate sections Čertova rokle – Hlavní nádraží and Masná – Juliánov.
• When travelling from Lesná, it will run from the Moravské náměstí stop along a semi-circular route along Roosevelt, Benešová and Masaryk Streets, serving the Malinovské náměstí, Hlavní nádraží (1st railway station), Zelný trh, Náměstí Svobody and Česká (in front of the St. Thomas Church) stops and then back to Lesná.
• In both directions, the Vlhká stop will be omitted, the stops Hlavní nádraží, Zelný trh, Náměstí Svobody and Česká will be served only in the direction from Hlavní nádraží to Česká.
Tram line 10 will be divided into two separate sections Vozovna Komín – Hlavní nádraží and Masná – Stránská skála.
• When travelling from Komín, it will run from the Česká stop along a semi-circular route along Masarykova, Benešová and Roosevelt streets, serving the stops Náměstí Svobody, Zelný trh, Hlavní nádraží (2nd railway station), Malinovského náměstí and then back to Komín.
• In both directions, the Vlhká stop will be omitted, the Hlavní nádraží and Malinovského náměstí stops will be served only in the direction from Hlavní nádraží to Česká (Hlavní nádraží stop will be served on the 2nd track).
The alternative transport in the excluded section will be provided by an extraordinary bus line x8 on the route Hlavní nádraží (stop of lines 31 and 33 in the loop) – Vlhká – Masná.
• In the excluded section, it is also possible to use regular trolleybus lines 31 and 33.
In view of the location of the works, trolleybus and bus operations in Křenová Street will also be restricted from 8:30 on Saturday, 25 May 2024 continuously till 21:00 on Sunday, 26 May 2024.
• The stop Vlhká for lines x8, 31, 33, 67, E76, N89, N96 and N98 will be relocated to the road outside the tram islands in both directions.
• The stop Masná for lines x8, 31, 33 and 67 only in the direction to the centre will be relocated to the road outside the tram islands.
