Tram service restriction in Lidická and Křížová streets
Due to finishing works as part of the repair of the tram track on Lidická Street and the replacement of track structures on Křížová Street, the following measures will be implemented on the affected public transport routes from 14 to 17 November 2026:
Tram line 1 will operate on the section Malinovského náměstí – Hudcova via a two-way diversion via Česká and along the route of line 12 through the Technologický park and the Medlánky depot.
• It will not serve the regular stops on the section Moravské náměstí – Tylova, nor the Hudcova stop when travelling from the city centre.
• On the diverted route, it will serve all stops along the way (including the Vozovna Medlánky stop in front of the Medlánky depot); it will serve the Česká stop at platforms 2 and 4.
Tram line 2 will run on a two-way diversion via Nové sady and Renneská streets on the section Nové sady – Celní.
• It will not serve the regular stops Václavská, Hybešova, Poříčí and Nemocnice Milosrdných bratří.
• On the diversion route, it will additionally serve the stops Soukenická, Křídlovická, Vojtova and Vsetínská.
• It will serve the Nové sady stop on platforms 3 and 4.
Tram line 5 will run along its regular route between Štefánikova čtvrť and Mendlovo náměstí, and will then be diverted via the stops at Václavská and Hybešova to the Nové sady - smyčka stop (transfer to the Soukenická stop for lines 2, 6, 8 and P6).
• It will not serve the regular stops on the section Poříčí – Ústřední hřbitov - smyčka.
Tram line 6 will operate on a modified route: Mendlovo náměstí – Šilingrovo náměstí – Česká – Náměstí Svobody – Hlavní nádraží (platforms 7 and 8 in Masarykova Street) – Nové sady – Křídlovická – Vsetínská – Starý Lískovec, smyčka.
• It will not serve the regular stops on the sections Královo Pole, nádraží – Moravské náměstí and Poříčí – Celní.
• Please note that, due to the diversion, on the section between Česká and Mendlovo náměstí, passengers travelling towards Starý Lískovec must use the platforms normally served by services heading towards Královo Pole.
Tram line 7 will run along its regular route on the section (Čertova rokle –) Zemědělská – Nové sady and will then be diverted along the route of line 1 to Pisárky.
• It will not serve the regular stops on the section Soukenická – Starý Lískovec, smyčka.
• On the diverted route, it will serve all stops along the way.
• The Pisárky stop (at the tram loop) will be served for alighting only; the starting stop in the direction of the city centre will be ARENA BRNO.
• The Nové sady stop will be served on platforms 3 and 4.
Tram line 12 will be extended from the Technologický park via the Medlánky depot to the Královo Pole, nádraží stop.
• On the extended route, it will serve the stops Vozovna Medlánky, Tylova, Semilasso and Královo Pole, nádraží in both directions.
Tram line P6 will run (on Monday 16 November 2026 only) on a modified route: Česká – Náměstí Svobody – Hlavní nádraží (platforms 7 and 8 on Masarykova Street) – Nové sady – Křídlovická – Vsetínská – Nemocnice Bohunice.
• It will not serve stops on the section Mendlovo náměstí – Celní.
Replacement transport will be provided by a special bus line x5 running on a semi-circular route: Mendlovo náměstí (platform 8) » Poříčí (relocated back past the junction with Bělidla Street) » Nemocnice Milosrdných bratří » Vojtova (stop for line N90 towards the Main Station) » Ústřední hřbitov (on Jihlavská Street) » Hluboká (stop for lines N90 and N91 towards the Main Station) » Celní » Nemocnice Milosrdných bratří » Poříčí (relocated to Ypsilantiho Street) » Václavská » Mendlovo náměstí.
Replacement transport will also be provided by the special bus line x6 on a semi-circular route: Královo Pole, nádraží » Semilasso » following the route of tram line 6 » Antonínská (next to the tram stop) » Moravské náměstí » Česká (platform 9 by the park) » Smetanova » Sušilova » Pionýrská (stop relocated to Štefánikova Street) » following the route of tram line 6 » Semilasso » Královo Pole, nádraží.
Furthermore, the following measures will be introduced on selected bus lines:
Night bus lines N90 and N91 travelling from the Hlavní nádraží stop will be diverted on the section Malinovského náměstí – Pionýrská via Kounicova and Kotlářská Streets.
• They will not serve the regular stops at Moravské náměstí and Antonínská in that direction.
• On the diverted route, they will serve the stops at Česká (platform 9), Smetanova and Sušilova.
The Poříčí stop will be relocated for lines x5, 62, 84 and N91, travelling towards Mendlovo náměstí / Hlavní nádraží, to the Ypsilantiho Street, for lines x5, 44, 62 and N91 heading towards Křídlovická / Starý Lískovec, it will be moved back past the junction with Bělidla Street.
The Václavská stop for line N91 towards the Main Station will be relocated forward to Hybešova Street.
