Tram service restriction in Lidická Street
Due to track work, trams will not be able to operate on Lidická, Štefánikova, and Palackého streets on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Tram line 1 will operate on a detour in both directions between Malinovského náměstí and Kořískova stops via Veveří and Purkyňova streets and through the Medlánky depot.
• All stops on the section Moravské náměstí – Tylova will not be served.
• All stops on the detour route will be served.
• The Česká stop in the direction of Řečkovice will be served on Česká Street; in the direction of Bystrc, it will be served on Joštova Street.
• The Hudcova stop will be served only in the direction from Řečkovice.
Tram line 6 will operate only in the section Starý Lískovec, smyčka – Česká, and will then be diverted along the route of line 5 to the Štefánikova čtvrť terminus.
Replacement service will be provided by bus line x1 on the route Hlavní nádraží – Moravské náměstí – Semilasso – Vozovna Medlánky / Řečkovice and bus line x6 on the route Hlavní nádraží – Moravské náměstí – Semilasso – Královo Pole, nádraží.
• Both lines will follow the route and stops of lines 1 and 6.
• The Hlavní nádraží stop on platform 2 wil be served for boarding.
• The Tylova stop will be served by line x1 in both directions at the stops of regular bus lines.
In addition, from 7:00 AM on Friday, May 1, 2026 uninterruptedly until 8:00 PM on Saturday, May 2, 2026, the following stops will be relocated:
• The Moravské náměstí stop for bus lines x1, x6, N90, and N91 will be relocated in both directions to the passing lane at the level of the tram island.
• The Hudcova stop for bus lines x1, 41, 42, 70, N90, and N91 in the direction of Řečkovice will be relocated to the passing lane at the level of the tram island.
• Only on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the Hrnčířská stop for lines x1 and x6 heading toward Královo Pole will also be relocated to the passing lane next to the tram stop.
