Tram transport restriction on Nádražní street
Due to the replacement of track objects, tram operation on tracks 1 and 2 in Nádražní Street will be restricted on the weekend of 1 - 2 March 2025:
• Saturday 1 March 2025 from 8:25 to 20:00
• Sunday 2 March 2025 from 8:25 to 16:30
Tram line 1 will be divided into two separate sections Bystrc, Ečerova – Nové sady - smyčka and Hlavní nádraží – Řečkovice.
• When travelling from Bystrc, line 1 will be diverted from the Hybešova stop to the Nové sady loop and will then return to Bystrc.
• In the section Hlavní nádraží – Česká – Mendlovo náměstí – ARENA BRNO » Pisárky an extraordinary tram line x1 will be established, which will follow up to tram line 1 running from/to Řečkovice.
• When travelling from Řečkovice, line 1 will run only to the Hlavní nádraží stop. It will continue as line x1 through Masarykova, Husova, Pekařská and Hlinky streets to the Pisárky stop (exit in the tram loop). The stop Mendlovo náměstí will be served by line x1 in the above direction together with line 1 going in the direction of Pisárky.
• From the ARENA BRNO stop, line x1 will run along Hlinky, Pekařská, Husová and Masaryková streets to the Hlavní nádraží stop. It will then continue as line 1 along the normal route to Řečkovice. The stop Mendlovo náměstí will be served by line x1 in that direction together with line 6 going in the direction of Šilingrovo náměstí.
Tram line 2 will be divided into two separate sections Modřice, smyčka / Ústřední hřbitov - smyčka – Nové sady - smyčka and Hlavní nádraží – Stará osada.
• When travelling from Modřice / Ústřední hřbitov, line 2 will be diverted from the Hybešova stop to the Nové sady - smyčka and then will return to Modřice / Ústřední hřbitov.
• When travelling from Stará osada, it will run from the Malinovského náměstí stop on a semi-circular route along Rooseveltova, Masarykova and Benešova streets, serving the stops Česká (in front of the Church of St.Thomas), Náměstí Svobody, Zelný trh, Hlavní nádraží (2nd track) and then back to Stará osada.
Tram line 7 will be divided into two separate sections Starý Lískovec, smyčka – Hlavní nádraží – Geislerova and Hlavní nádraží – Zemědělská.
• When travelling from Starý Lískovec, line 7 will run to Nové sady stop along the normal route and then will be diverted via Hlavní nádraží (4th track) and via Křenová Street to the stop Geislerova. In the direction to Starý Lískovec it will serve the Hlavní nádraží stop on the 3rd track.
• When travelling from Zemědělská, it will run from the Malinovského náměstí stop on a semi-circular route along Rooseveltova, Masarykova and Benešova streets, serving the stops Česká (in front of the Church of St.Thomas), Náměstí Svobody, Zelný trh, Hlavní nádraží (2nd track) and then back to Zemědělská.
Tram line 12 will run in the direction from Komárov to Technologický park in the section Hlavní nádraží – Česká with a diversion via náměstí Svobody.
• In the direction of the Technologický park, the Nové sady and Šilingrovo náměstí stops won't be served.
• The stop Hlavní nádraží in the direction to Technologický park will be served on the 1st track.
• On the diverted route, the Zelný trh and Náměstí Svobody stops will be served.
• In the direction to Komárov, line 12 will follow the standard route along Husova Street.
Between the Nové sady - smyčka and the Hlavní nádraží stops it is necessary to choose an alternative pedestrian route, or tram lines 7, 8 and 12 between Nové sady and Hlavní nádraží (line 12 only in the direction of the railway station).
Changes of stops
Hlavní nádraží
• No service on line 1 in the direction to Bystrc and line 2 in the direction to Ústřední hřbitov / Modřice.
• Line 7 towards Starý Lískovec will serve the 3rd track.
• Line 12 towards Technologický park will serve the 1st track.
Nové sady
• No service on lines 1 and 2 in both directions.
• No service on line 12 towards Technologický park.
Šilingrovo náměstí
• No service on line 12 towards Technologický park.
