Tram transport restriction on náměstí Svobody
Due to the Transport Nostalgia Days, tram transport on náměstí Svobody will be restricted on Saturday 14 June 2025 from 9:45 to 19:00 and Sunday 15 June 2025 from 12:45 to 18:15.
Tram line 4 will run in the section Česká – Hlavní nádraží via Husová Street.
• It will skip the stops Náměstí Svobody and Zelný trh.
• The Česká stop will be served jointly with lines 5 and 6 in the direction of Mendlovo náměstí.
• On the diversion route, it will stop at the Šilingrovo náměstí and Nové sady stops.
The traffic restriction will also affect tram line 8 (terminated at Hlavni nadrazi in connection with the closure under the viaducts), which will serve the stop on the 2nd track at Hlavní nádraží for exiting, and will serve the stop of lines 2 and 7 in the direction of Hlavni nadrazi at Malinovského náměstí for boarding.
• Other measures introduced in connection with the closure under the viaducts remain in force.
Tram line 9 (affected by the closure under the viaduct at the main railway station) will run in the direction of Lesná in the section Hlavní nádraží – Česká via Husová Street.
• It will thus skip the stops Zelný trh and Náměstí Svobody.
• On the diversion route it will serve the Nové sady and Šilingrovo náměstí stops.
• The Česká stop will be served together with lines 3, 5 and 6 in Joštova Street.
• In the opposite direction, it will run along Roosevelt Street according to the measures in force in connection with the closure under the viaduct.
Tram line 12 (terminated at the Main Railway Station in connection with the closure under the viaducts) will run in the direction to the centre in the section Česká – Hlavní nádraží via Rooseveltova Street.
• It will thus skip the stops Šilingrovo náměstí and Nové sady in this direction.
• On the diversion route it will serve the Malinovského náměstí stop.
• It will serve the Hlavní nádraží stop for both alighting and boarding on the 1st track.
• In the opposite direction it will follow the currently valid route along Husova Street.
• Other measures introduced in connection with the closure under the viaducts will remain in force.
