Weekend tram service restriction in Kníničská Street
Due to reconstruction work on the tram line, tram services between Bystrc and Komín will be suspended over the weekend of 15 and 16 August 2026.
Tram line 1 will only operate on the route between Řečkovice – Vozovna Komín.
• It will therefore not serve stops on the section between Svratecká – Rakovecká.
• The stop Vozovna Komín (both boarding and alighting) will continue to be served at a temporary location at the traffic light junction of Kníničská and Veslařská streets.
Tram line 3 will continue to operate only on the route Stará osada – Sochorova.
Tram line 10 will operate on the route Stránská skála – loop – Konečného náměstí and will then be diverted via Purkyňova Street to the Červinkova loop.
• From the stop Česká, line 10 returns to its usual route via Veveří Street.
Replacement transport will be provided by regular bus line 54, which will be extended from the stop Zoologická zahrada (on Obvodová Street) to the stop Vozovna Komín (on Kníničská Street).
• It will therefore not serve the stop Zoologická zahrada at the terminal (platform 5).
• In addition, it will serve the stops at Kamenolom, Podlesí, Branka, Svratecká and Vozovna Komín (a stop set up on Kníničská Street beyond the traffic lights at the junction of Kníničská and Veslařská Streets).
