Anticipated events
Public transport changes from 17 May 2025
On the weekend of 17 and 18 May 2025, several significant long-term closures are expected to start, which will result in timetable changes on selected lines.
Closure of Kounicova Street
Due to the reconstruction of utilities, roads and tram lines, Nerudova Street and part of Kounicova Street between the intersections with Zahradníkova and Šumavská Streets will be completely closed.
• Line 12 will be diverted to Bystrc, and a tram line x12 will provide substitute transport in the section Technologický park – Klusáčkova.
• The direct connection between the centre and the Technologický park will be provided by line 10, which will be diverted along Lidická Street and via the Medlánky depot.
• The restriction will also affect lines x4, 34, 36, N93 and N99, which will run on diversion routes.
Closure of Zábrdovická Street
Due to construction works at the intersection of Zábrdovická and Šámalova Streets, tram operations will be excluded in the section Vojenská nemocnice – Stará osada.
• Lines 2 and 3 will be terminated at the Vojenská nemocnice stop.
• As a substitute, lines 27, 55, 58, 64, x64, 78 and 201 will be extended from Stará osada or the stop Židenice, nádraží to the stop Vojenská nemocnice.
• The night lines N97 and N99 will also be affected.
Tram traffic restriction to Modřice
Due to the reconstruction of the tram line, trams to Modřice will be excluded.
• Line 2 will be terminated at the Bohunická stop.
• A replacement bus line x2 will provide substitute transport in the section Bohunická – Modřice, smyčka.
Closure of Zimní Street
Due to construction works, Zimní Street in Maloměřice will be completely closed.
- Line 64 will run only in the section Chrlice, smyčka – Židenice, railway station.
- An substitute bus line x64 will be introduced in the section Vojenská nemocnice – Stará osada – Červený písek – Švestková.

Scheduled events
Bus transport diversion on Dlážděná street
Due to the reconstruction of the road surface, a part of Dlážděné Street in Žebětín between Křivánkovo náměstí and the intersection with Za Kněžským hájkem Street will be closed continuously from 12 May 2025 until the completion of the works (expected until 13 June 2025).
Bus line 52 won't serve the stops Žebětín, hřbitov and Bartolomějská.
• The stops in the area in both directions in the order Křivánkovo náměstí – Ríšova – Helenčina will be served.
Night bus line N98 will run in the direction from Bystrc by diverting behind the Drdy stop along Otevřená and Ostrovačická streets to the Helenčina stop (final stop).
• In this area, the stops will be served in the order Drdy – Křivánkovo náměstí (in Otevřená Street) – Helenčina (for both boarding and exit) – Drdy and then via Bystrc to the centre.
Working days connections of regional bus line 161 will run in the section between the stops Troubsko, Veselka - Wollmanova with a diversion in both directions along the Stará dálnice Street.
• The stops in the section Borovník to Ondrouškova won't be served.
• On the diversion route, the Štouračova and Adamcova stops will be served.
Selected school and weekend connections of the regional bus line 161 will run in the section between the stop Troubsko, Veselka and Žebětín on a diversion route in both directions along the Stará dálnice Street and then along Kohoutovická Street.
- The stops Borovník and Bartolomějská won't be served.
- On the diversion route the stops Kopce, Kohoutovická and Žebětín, škola will be served.
- The exit stop will be Křivánkovo náměstí, the boarding stop will be Helenčina.
The stops Borovník, Bartolomějská, Žebětín, hřbitov and Křivánkovo náměstí (stops normally served by line 52 towards the centre) cannot be served during the closure.

Tram traffic restriction in Divadelní street
Due to the replacement of track objects in Divadelní and Benešov streets (only in the direction of the main railway station), the operation of selected tram lines will be limited from the morning departures on Thursday 8 May until 17:00 on Sunday 11 May 2025.
Tram line 1 will be diverted in the direction from Řečkovice in the section Moravské náměstí – Hlavní nádraží via Masarykova Street.
• The Malinovského náměstí stop will not be served in this direction.
• On the diversion route the stops Česká, Náměstí Svobody and Zelný trh will be served.
• The stop Hlavní nádraží will be served in Masarykova Street.
• In the opposite direction, the work site will be bypassed via Benešova Street around the Palác Morava building, the regular Malinovského náměstí stop in Rooseveltova Street will be served.
Tram line 2 will be diverted in the direction from Stará osada from the Malinovského náměstí stop via Rooseveltova Street and Masarykova Street and will terminate at the Hlavní nádraží stop (2nd track).
• On the diversion route the stops Česká, Náměstí Svobody and Zelný trh will be served.
• Connections of line 2 in the direction to Ústřední hřbitov / Modřice will serve the normal stop on the 1st track at Hlavní nádraží (they will start from the Geislerova stop).
• In the opposite direction the normal route will be followed.
Tram line P6 will be diverted in the direction from Královo Pole in the section Moravské náměstí – Hlavní nádraží via Masarykova Street.
• The Malinovského náměstí stop will not be served.
• On the diversion route the stops Česká, Náměstí Svobody and Zelný trh will be served.
• The stop Hlavní nádraží will be served in Masarykova Street.
Tram line 7 will be diverted in the direction from Zemdělská in the section Malinovského náměstí – Hlavní nádraží via Rooseveltova Street and Masarykova Street.
• On the diversion route the stops Česká, Náměstí Svobody and Zelný trh will be served.
• The stop Hlavní nádraží will be served in Masarykova Street.
• In the opposite direction the normal route will be followed.
Tram line 10 will be diverted in the direction from Komín in the section Česká – Hlavní nádraží via Masarykova Street.
• The Malinovského náměstí stop will not be served in this direction.
• On the diverted route, the stops Náměstí Svobody and Zelný trh will be served.
• The stop Hlavní nádraží will be served on the 2nd track.
• In the opposite direction, the work site will be bypassed via Benešova Street around the Palác Morava building, the regular Malinovského náměstí stop in Rooseveltova Street will be served.
Lines 1, 2 and 10 will run from regular stops in the direction affected by the closure at times according to the timetable, line 7 will run in the section Čertova rokle – Malinovského náměstí 3 minutes earlier (on Friday during 15 minutes interval 5 minutes earlier) compared to the regular timetable, in the section Hlavní nádraží – Starý Lískovec, smyčka will run one minute later (on Friday at the time according to the timetable).

Temporary relocation of the stop Horská
Due to excavation works, the stop Horská served by line 72 will be relocated in both directions from 6:30 on Tuesday 22 April 2025 till the works are finished (Expected by 31 May 2025):
• towards Královo Pole, nádraží approximately 125 meters backwards
• towards Technologický park approximately 135 meters forwards
Temporary relocation of the stop Soukenická
Due to the reconstruction of the hot water pipeline, the stop Soukenická for line 40 in the direction of Úzka will be relocated from 6:00 a.m. on Monday 14 April 2025 until the completion of the work (expected by the end of May 2025):
• towards Tuřany, line 40 will serve this stop together with lines N90 and N96 in Nové sady Street
Bus transport restriction on Anenská street
Due to heating pipeline reconstruction, bus transport on Anenská street are restricted from the night of 1/2 April 2025 continuously until the completion of the works (assumed by the end of August 2025).
The night bus line N97 will run in the section between the stops Hybešova – Mendlovo náměstí by a two-way diversion through Václavská Street.
• It will thus skip the St. Anne's Hospital stop.
• In addition, it will serve the Václavská stop on the diversion route.
• The Mendlovo náměstí stop in the direction to Líšně will be served by the pavement together with line N98 (platform 8).
The stop Nemocnice u sv. Anny will continue to be served by lines N89 (only in the direction from the centre) and N95.

Traffic restriction under the Křenová viaduct
In connection with the reconstruction of a part of the Křenová railway viaduct, the passage under the viaduct in Nádražní Street will be closed to all road traffic from 25 March 2025 until the completion of the works (estimated till the end of August 2025).
Trolleybus lines 31 and 33 will run in the direction towards centre from the Spáčilova stop by diverting through Hladíková, Masná, Mlýnská and Rumiště streets, and then back through Křenová street via the Vlhká stop along the normal route to Slatina and Šlapanice.
• In the direction to the centre, the Životského, Masná and Vlhká stops won't be served.
• On the diversion route the stops Tržní (stop of lines 47, 49, 77 and 84 in the direction of Zvonařka), Mlýnská (in Mlýnská Street behind the intersection with Masná Street), Čechyňská (on Šujanovo náměstí) and the substitute stop Hlavní nádraží located in Rumiště Street will be served.
• The regular stop Hlavní nádraží in the trolleybus loop will not be served by these lines.
• Selected connections of lines 31 and 33 will run from the Spáčilova stop along the route of line 77 to Úzká.
Bus line 47 will continue to terminate at the Úzká stop.
Bus line 67 will run in the section between the stops Vlhká and Malinovského náměstí via a diverted route through Koliště Street in both directions.
• The Hlavní nádraží stop won't be served.
Selected connections of bus line 77 will run from the Tržní stop along the diversion route and the stops of trolleybus lines 31 and 33 to the Hlavní nádraží stop in Rumiště Street.
School line š86 will serve the stop Hlavní nádraží located in the trolleybus loop.
The night bus lines N89, N95, N96 and N98 will run between the stops Vlhká/Úzká and Hlavní nádraží on the diversion route along Koliště Street.
• On the diversion route the Malinovského náměstí stop of lines N94, N97 and N99 will additionally be served in the direction of the main railway station.
Night bus lines N94 and N95 in the direction to Modřice and Chrlice respectively will serve a Hlavní nádraží stop in the trolleybus loop located on the pavement in the opposite direction.
For daily public transport lines, all service restrictions will start to apply from the morning departures on Tuesday 25 March 2025.
In addition, tram traffic will also be excluded under the Křenová viaduct on selected weekends for the duration of the closure. This will affect the tram lines 8, 9, 10 and 12. The diversion is expected to take place on the following dates:
• 29 and 30 March 2025
• 5 and 6 April 2025
• 18 to 21 April 2025
• 26 and 27 April 2025
• 3 and 4 May 2025
• 7 and 8 June 2025
• 14 and 15 June 2025
• 21 and 22 June 2025
• 28 and 29 June 2025
• 26 and 27 July 2025

Temporary relocation of the Raisova stop
Due to construction work, starting from 7:00 AM on March 3 2025, until the completion of the work (expected in May 2025), the stop Raisova for lines 25, 26, and N95 are temporarily relocated in both directions:
- In the direction towards the city center, approximately 190 meters back.
- In the direction from the city center, approximately 230 meters forward.
Bus transport diversion on Černovická street – 2st phase
Due to the reconstruction of the road surface, traffic in Černovická Street will be restricted from 23:00 on Sunday 2 March 2025 until the completion of the works (expected by the end of July 2025). Traffic in the direction to Černovice will be re-routed to one lane on the opposite side of Černovická Street.
Changes of stops:
Mariánské náměstí – in the direction to Černovice will be temporarily out of service for lines 49, E50 and N94.
Černovická – in the direction to Černovice for lines 49 and N94 will be relocated to a temporary platform in front of the Černovická × Lomená intersection, in addition it will be served by line E50 (only in the direction to Areál Slatina).
Mírová – in the direction to Černovice will be temporarily out of service for lines 49 and N94.
Evening services of lines 64 and 67 normally terminating at the Mariánské náměstí stop will terminate at the stop Konopná.

Bus transport restriction in Šámalova street
Due to the reconstruction of the underpass of the railway line, a part of Šámalova Street is closed from Monday 17 February 2025 until the completion of the works (estimated end by the end of May 2025).
Bus line 64 is diverted in the section Stará osada – Geislerova via Gajdošova, Táborská, Dulánek/Klíny, Jílkova, Šámalova and Geislerova streets.
• The Kuldova and Tomáškova stops are skipped
• On the diversion route the stops Gajdošova, Otakara Ševčíka, Mošnova (direction Chrlice) / Buzkova (direction Červený písek), Jílkova and Uzavřená are served.
Changes of stops:
Kuldova – without service by line 64 in both directions
Tomáškova – without service in both directions
Uzavřená – relocated in both directions past the Jílkova × Šámalova streets intersection
Jílkova – served in the opposite directions (see diagram)
Mošnova – served only towards Chrlice
Geislerova – relocated in both directions past the Geislerova × Táborská streets intersection

Bus transport restriction in Modřice - 4th phase
Due to the 4th stage of the reconstruction of utility networks, traffic in the part of Masarykova Street in Modřice is completely excluded from 23:30 on Sunday 16 February 2025 until the completion of the works (expected end of May 2025).
Bus line 49 operates only in the section Úzká - Přízřenice, smyčka.
Substitute transport is provided by bus line x49 on the route Komárov – Horní Heršpice – Přízřenice – Modřice, Olympia (– Dvůr v lese). The line follows the route and stops of line 49 except for the diversion in the section Přízřenice – Modřice, Masarykova via Moravanská, Vídeňská, Brněnská, Nádražní and Husova streets in both directions.
• The stops Jezerní, Modřická and Modřice, Žižkova are not served.
• On the diverted route the stops Moravanská, Modřická cihelna, Modřice, Brněnská, Modřice, smyčka, Modřice, železniční stanice (platforms 5 and 6 in Husova Street) and Modřice, Husova are additionally served.
• In the section Horní Heršpice – Komárov the line goes via the stops Hněvkovského and Sazenice towards Komárov. The stop Horní Heršpice is served in a relocated position in the Sokolova street.
The night bus line N94 is diverted in the section Přízřenice – Modřice, Masarykova along the same route and stops as line x49.
• Part of the connections of line N94 will be terminated at the terminal Modřice, železniční stanice (departure from platform 4).
When travelling to and from Modřice it is also possible to use railway line S3, tram line 2 and regional bus lines 509 and 510. Interchange is possible at the stops Modřice, smyčka and Modřice, železniční stanice.

Údolní street reconstruction
Due to the reconstruction of utilities, tram lines and the road surface, the Údolní street between the intersection with Husova street and the intersection with Bratří Čapků street is completely closed.
Tram line 4 runs on the semicircular route Babická – Maloměřický most – Malinovského náměstí – Česká – Náměstí Svobody – Hlavní nádraží – Malinovského náměstí – Maloměřický most – Babická.
• The stops Česká, Náměstí Svobody, Zelný trh and Hlavní nádraží are served in one direction only. The stop Česká is served on platform 5 (together with line 9 in front of St. Thomas Church).
Replacement transport is provided by bus line x4 on the route Česká – Náměstí Míru – Tábor – Nákupní centrum Královo Pole.
• The stop Česká is served at the stop of line 12 in the direction Hlavní nádraží. In the direction from Česká the buses divert through Husova, Pekařská, Úvoz and Grohova streets. The buses skip the stops Komenského náměstí and Obilní trh and serve the stop Šilingrovo náměstí (stops of lines 5 and 6 in the direction of Mendlovo náměstí), Nemocnice u sv. Anny, Sladová (at the Úvoz × Sladová intersection), Tvrdého and Úvoz (stop of lines 25 and 26 in the direction of Konečného náměstí) stops on the diversion route. The stop Všetičkova is relocated behind the Grohova × Údolní intersection. Furthermore, line x4 serves the stop Náměstí Míru (stop of line N89) and continues along the route of line 68 via the Kounicovy koleje, Tábor (relocated to Tábor Street), Klusáčkova (relocated to Tábor Street), Štefánikova and then via the stop Reissigova to the stop Nákupní centrum Královo Pole.
• In the direction of Česká, buses run from the stop Nákupní centrum Královo Pole via the stops Reissigova and Štefánikova to the stop Klusáčkova of line 68, then along the route of line 68 via the stops Tábor, Kounicovy koleje and Tichého to the stop Náměstí Míru (in a loop), then serving the stops Heinrichova and Všetičkova of line 4 and then continuing on a diversion through Bratří Čapků, Gorkého, Grohová and Veveří streets. They thus skip the stops Obilní trh and Komenského náměstí, and on the diversion route they serve the stop Úvoz (stop of lines 25 and 26 in the direction of Konečného náměstí), Grohova (in Grohova Street before the intersection with Veveří Street) and Česká (stop of line 12 in the direction of Hlavní nádraží) stops.
• Part of the connections of line x4 only runs in the section Česká – Náměstí Míru.
Trolleybus lines 38 and 39 in the direction to the centre run from the stop Úvoz (stop of lines 25 and 26 in the direction of Konečného náměstí) via Grohova and Veveří streets and terminate at the stop Česká.
• They thus skip the stops Obilní trh and Komenského náměstí and serve the stops Grohova (in Grohova Street before the intersection with Veveří Street) and Česká (stop of line 80 at the park) stops on the diversion route.
Trolleybus lines 38 and 39 in the direction to Masarykova čtvrť run from the stop Česká (line 80 stop by the park) along Kounicova Street, through Konečného náměstí and Úvoz.
• They thus skip the stops Komenského náměstí and Obilní trh, and on the diversion route they serve the stops Česká (line 80 stop at the park), Smetanova, Sušilova, Konečného náměstí, Čápkova and Úvoz (line 25 and 26 stop towards Mendlovo náměstí).
Selected connections of line 38 run from the stop Úvoz (stop of lines 25 and 26 in the direction of Konečného náměstí) through the stops Čápkova and Nerudova to the stop Konečného náměstí (stop of lines 25 and 26 in the direction of Mendlovo náměstí), from where they continue back in the direction of Preslova.
Bus line 68 operates only in the section Myslivna – Náměstí Míru. In the remaining part of the route, it is replaced by the shutdown bus line x4.
• The stops Šumavská and Šelepova are not be served by line x4 or line 68. On the other hand, the stop Štefánikova is served in both directions.
Bus line 80 in the direction to Špilberk runs in the section Česká – Úvoz on the same route as lines 38 and 39.
• It thus skip the stop Komenského náměstí, and on the diverted route it serves the stops Konečného náměstí and Úvoz (stop of lines 25 and 26 in the direction of Mendlovo náměstí).
Bus line 80 in the direction to Česká runs in the section Úvoz – Česká on the same route as lines 38 and 39.
• It thus skips the stop Komenského náměstí, and on the diverted route it serves the stops Úvoz (stop of lines 25 and 26 in the direction of Konečného náměstí) and Grohova (in Grohova Street before the intersection with Veveří Street).
The night bus line N89 in the direction from the main railway station runs in the section Šilingrovo náměstí – Všetičkova via Pekařská, Úvoz and Gorkého streets.
• It skips the stops Komenského náměstí and Obilní trh. It serves the stop Šilingrovo náměstí in Pekařská Street (stop of lines 5 and 6 in the direction of Mendlovo náměstí) and on the diversion route it also serves the stops Nemocnice u sv. Anny, Sladová (at the Úvoz × Sladová intersection), Tvrdého and Úvoz (stop of lines 25 and 26 in the direction of Konečného náměstí). The stop Všetičkova is relocated behind the Grohova × Údolní intersection.
The night bus line N89 in the direction of the main railway station runs in the section Úvoz – Šilingrovo náměstí via Bratří Čapků, Gorkého, Grohová and Veveří streets.
• It thus skips the stops Obilní trh and Komenského náměstí, and on the diversion route it serves the stops Úvoz (stop of lines 25 and 26 in the direction of Konečného náměstí), Grohova (in Grohova Street before the intersection with Veveří Street) and Česká (stop of line 12 in the direction of Hlavní nádraží).
The night bus line N95 in the direction from the main railway station runs in the section Šilingrovo náměstí – Žlutý Kopec via Pekařská and Úvoz streets.
• It skips the stops Komenského náměstí and Obilní trh. It serves the stop Šilingrovo náměstí in Pekařská Street (stop of lines 5 and 6 in the direction of Mendlovo náměstí) and on the diversion route it also serves the stops Nemocnice u sv. Anny, Sladová (at the Úvoz × Sladová intersection) and Tvrdého.
The night bus line N95 in the direction to the main railway station runs in the section Tvrdého – Šilingrovo náměstí via Úvoz, Gorkého, Grohová and Veveří streets.
• It thus skips the stops Obilní trh and Komenského náměstí and on the diversion route it serves the stops Úvoz (stop of lines 25 and 26 in the direction of Konečného náměstí), Grohova (in Grohova Street before the intersection with Veveří Street) and Česká (stop of line 12 in the direction of Hlavní nádraží).
Connections of night lines N89 and N95 going to the connection at the main station at 23:00, 23:30 and 0:00 on Saturday 31 August 2024 in the evening will already be running on the closure route!
The stops Komenského náměstí and Obilní trh cannot be served during the closure. Similarly, it is not possible to serve the stops Úvoz in Údolní street; all lines affected by the closure serve the stops Úvoz of lines 25 and 26.

Temporary relocation of the stop Křídlovická
Due to the construction works, the stop Křídlovická is relocated from 6:00 on Monday 18 April 2022 till the works are finished:
• for line 44 approximately 120 metres forward (past the intersection with Nové sady street)
• for line 84 approximately 40 metres forward (past the intersection with Náplavka street)
• UPDATE: the stop of line 84 has been returned to its original position on Monday 13 June 2022 at 10:30
Traffic accident – Černovická street
Passengers will be transported by an alternative vehicle with delay.
Impassable route – stop Česká
Vehicle failure – stop Libušino údolí
Please use the following connection or line 50.

Traffic release.
Impassable road – Hlinky street
Due to the Majáles parade, some connections may be delayed. The affected services will be replaced by back-up vehicles.
Brněnský majáles 2025 – transport reinforcement to the exhibition centre
On Saturday 10 May 2025, "Brněnský majáles 2025" cultural event will take place on Brno Exhibition Centre. Following transport measures will be therefore applied:
During the parade from the city centre (approximately from 11:00 to 12:00), a short-time delays may occure on public transport lines on Husova and Pekařská streets or on Mendlovo náměstí. Some connections of lines 5 and 6 may be operatively diverted.
From 11:00 to 1:00, reinforcement tram line P1 will operate on the route Komárov – Hlavní nádraží – Výstaviště - hlavní vstup (– Pisárky – Vozovna Komín – Ečerova).
• At night, departures from the Výstaviště - hlavní vstup in the direction of Hlavní nádraží will be provided from 0:57 to 4:42 at an interval of 15 minutes.
From 11:00 to 1:00, tram line P12 will be in operation on the route Výstaviště - hlavní vstup – Česká – Konečného náměstí – Červinkova (– Technologický park).
From 22:45 to 1:00, tram line P9 will be in operation on the route Výstaviště - hlavní vstup – Česká – Jugoslávská – Čertova rokle.
Operation of lines 1, 8, 25, 26 and 37 (in the section Mendlovo náměstí – Jírovcova) will be extended approximately till 1:00.
For travelling from the event, we recommend to use lines mentioned above. Night lines N97 and N98 will not be reinforced!
• From 0:00 to 1:00 (after the main programme), lines N97 and N98 may be opratively diverted away from the exposed roads in the area of exhibition centre.
To get to and from the event, we recommend to use the stop Výstaviště - hlavní vstup.
