End of selected closure restrictions
In connection with the planned end of selected service suspensions, the following changes will take effect over the weekend of May 30 and 31, 2026:
From Saturday, May 30, 2026, tram line 10 will resume service to Stránská skála. At the same time, bus line x10 will be discontinued.
In the evening hours of Sunday, May 31, 2026, the stop Ruda in the direction of the city center will be reinstated for bus lines E50, 52, 54, N98, and 161.
From Monday, June 1, 2026, all service on U Jezu Street will resume. Buses on line 49 will return to their regular route to the stop Dvůr v lese.

Bus transport restriction in Bosonohy
Due to construction work, traffic on Pražská Street will be restricted for all vehicles from 8:00 AM on Monday, May 18, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by mid-June 2026).
Bus lines 69 and N96 heading toward the city center will not stop at the Pražská stop.
• As an alternative, passengers may use the regular Hoštická stop on Hoštická Street.
Regional bus lines 161, 402, 404, and 405 will serve the Pražská (toward Bohunice Hospital) and Hoštická (toward Troubsko) stops at the following relocated locations:
• The Pražská stop will be moved approximately 400 meters back on Pražská Street (lines 402, 405) or Troubská Street (lines 161, 404).
• The Hoštická stop will be moved approximately 200 meters forward on Pražská Street (lines 402, 405) or Troubská Street (lines 161, 404).
The Skalní stop in the direction of Bosonohy / Troubsko will be relocated approximately 250 meters back for all lines.

Tram service suspension at náměstí Svobody
Due to the completion of pavement repairs and the installation of retractable bollards to prevent vehicles from entering the city center, tram service on Masarykova Street will not be possible from Monday, May 18, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by the end of June 2026), which will require comprehensive changes to tram routes in the city center.
Tram line 4 will operate only on the route Náměstí Míru – Náměstí Svobody.
Tram line 9 will run on the section Česká – Hlavní nádraží in both directions via Šilingrovo náměstí and Nové sady.
• The Náměstí Svobody and Zelný trh stops will not be served.
• The Česká stop will be served on Joštova Street (platforms 1 and 2).
• At the Hlavní nádraží stop, the platforms 3 and 4 will be served (together with lines 8 and 10).
Tram line 10 will run on the section Česká – Hlavní nádraží in both directions via Šilingrovo náměstí and Nové sady.
• The Malinovského náměstí stop will not be served.
• The Česká stop will be served on Česká Street (platforms 3 and 4).
• At the Hlavní nádraží stop, the platforms 3 and 4 will be served (together with lines 8 and 9).
Tram line 12 will run on the section Česká – Hlavní nádraží in both directions via Malinovského náměstí.
• The Šilingrovo náměstí and Nové sady stops will not be served.
• The Česká stop will be served on Česká Street (platforms 3 and 4).
• At the Hlavní nádraží stop, the platforms 5 and 6 (near the trolleybus loop) will be served.
Replacement service for line 4 will be provided by temporary tram line 14, running on the route Náměstí Míru – (following the route of Line 4) – Komenského náměstí – Šilingrovo náměstí – Nové sady – Hlavní nádraží (platforms 1 and 2) – Malinovského náměstí – (following the original route and stops of Line 4) – Obřany, Babická.
• Selected services on weekdays will operate only on the section Malinovského náměstí – Obřany, Babická.

Bus service restriction on Houbalova Street
Due to road construction, Houbalova Street will be closed for buses from 4:50 AM on Monday, May 11, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by mid-October 2026).
Bus lines 55 and N98 will operate on a two-way detour via Jedovnická Street between Bílá hora and Elplova stops.
• The Vlkova and Houbalova stops will not be served.
• On the detour route, the Růženin dvůr and Strnadova stops will be served.
The Vlkova and Houbalova stops will be completely out of service for the duration of the closure.
• As an alternative, passengers may use the stops on the detour route, or the Novolíšeňská and Masarova stops.

Temporary service change on lines 66 and 72
Due to construction work and changes to traffic patterns at the intersection of Okružní and Seifertova streets, there will be changes to bus routes 66 and 72 from May 4, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by early August 2026).
Bus line 66 towards Haškova will run in the section between Poliklinika Lesná and Heleny Malířové stops via a detour through Merhautova and Kohoutova streets.
• In addition, the Lesná, nádraží stop will be served (stop for routes 44, 46, 57, and 72 toward Lesná).
Bus line 72, which normally runs between Technologický park and Poliklinika Lesná, will be extended to the Lesná, nádraží stop.
The Lesná, nádraží stop (served by lines 44, 46, 57, and 72 towards Lesná) and the Heleny Malířové stop (served by lines 46 and 66 towards Štefánikova čtvrť / Haškova) will be moved back approximately 50 and 30 meters, respectively.

Temporary relocation of the stop Velodrom towards Mendlovo náměstí
Due to construction work, the section of road between Křížkovského and Bauerova streets in front of Gate 4 of the BVV Exhibition Grounds will be closed to all traffic from Monday, May 4, until the work is completed (expected by the end of August 2026).
Bus lines 44 and N98 towards Mendlovo náměstí will be rerouted via Bauerova and Poříčí streets; the Velodrom stop will be served at a relocated position on Poříčí Street before the intersection with Rybářská Street.

Diversion on line E56 towards Nemocnice Bohunice
Due to the complete closure of the overpass, the ramp from Bauerova Street (in the direction from the intersection with Hlinky Street) to the Pisárky Tunnel will be closed from Monday, April 27, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by the end of June 2026).
Bus line E56 towards Nemocnice Bohunice will be rerouted via Pisárecká and Rybnická Streets.
• The Pisárky stop won't be served.
• On the diverted route the Anthropos stop will be served instead.
• In the direction of Královo Pole, line E56 will follow its regular route through the Pisárky Tunnel.

Temporary relocation of the stop Skácelova
Due to excavation works, the stop Skácelova served by lines 12 and N99 will be relocated in both directions will be moved before the Královopolská × Skácelova × Purkyňova intersection closer to the center from 5:00 a.m. on Monday 16 March 2026 till the works are finished (Expected until July 15, 2026):
• towards the centre approximately 130 meters forwards
• from the centre approximately 140 meters backwards
Change of line 84 platform at Stará osada terminal
Due to construction work on Skopalíkova and Markéty Kuncové streets and operational changes, from March 1, 2026, until the completion of the work (expected by November 30, 2026), line 84 will serve platform no. 8 (regular stop for line 44) for boarding at the Stará osada terminal.

Temporary relocation of the stop Za Lužánkami
UPDATE: From 8:00 AM on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, the Za Lužánkami stop for line 67 towards Jundrov will also be moved approximately 140 meters back before the intersection with Erbenova Street.
Due to construction work, the Za Lužánkami stop is relocated from 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by August 31, 2026):
• For line 67 towards Avion Shopping Park, approximately 140 meters back to Sportovní Street before the parking lot exit.

Fryčajova Street Closure
Due to reconstruction of utility networks and road surfaces, Fryčajova Street in Obřany is closed to all traffic from 6:15 AM on Saturday, November 1, 2025 until completion of the work (expected at least till spring in 2027).
All tram line 4 connections run to the Obřany, Babická stop.
• Selected connections will no longer terminate at the Maloměřický most stop.
Bus line 57 only operates between Vranov, smyčka and Maloměřický most.

Bus line 75 only operates on the section (Slatina, nádraží –) Vozovna Slatina – Tomkovo náměstí.

The night bus line x94 runs along the route Brno, Tomkovo náměstí (connection with line N94) – Ochoz u Brna – Kanice – Řícmanice – Bílovice nad Svitavou – Brno, Obřany, sídliště.
• From the stop Obřany, sídliště in the direction of Brno, connections depart from the signpost in the direction of Bílovice nad Svitavou.
• In Bílovice nad Svitavou, buses stop opposite the x75 line at stops in the opposite direction.

• When traveling on line x94 between fare zones 100 and 215, holders of the relevant prepaid ticket do not pay the fare for zone 210; a prepaid ticket for zones 100 and 215 is sufficient.
• Passengers with a single-use ticket pay the fare according to the fare zones actually traveled.
• On this line, except for the stops Tomkovo náměstí and Obřany, sídliště, passengers board exclusively through the front door, with the driver checking or selling tickets.

Tram service restriction at Ečerova terminus
Due to construction work at the Ečerova loop in connection with the construction of a new tram line to the Kamechy housing estate, there are changes to tram service in Bystrc from Saturday, October 18, 2025, until the completion of works (expected by the end of August 2026).
Tram line 1 operates in the Řečkovice – Přístaviště section and then is diverted to the Rakovecká loop.
• The Kubíčkova, Ondrouškova, and Ečerova stops are not served.
As a replacement, tram line 3 is extended to the Ečerova stop.
• The Rakovecká loop is not served.
• On the extended route, the Kubíčkova and Ondrouškova stops are served.
• The Ečerova stop is served for both boarding and alighting in the location of the current exit stop.
Other lines in the area remain unchanged.
While travelling by line 1 from the city center to the western part of Bystrc and the Kamechy housing estate in the evening, we recommend transferring to bus lines 52 and 54 at the Zoologická zahrada terminal.

Traffic restriction in Jihlavská Street – 1st phase
UPDATE: On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at approximately 9:45 a.m., the Stará nemocnice stop for lines 40 and N90 in the direction from the city center will be moved back to its regular position.
Due to the construction works, from Monday 30 June 2025 until the completion of the works (expected by 20 May 2026) the traffic in Jihlavská Street between the intersections with Netroufalky and Dlouhá Streets will be restricted.
Trolleybus line 25 will operate only in the section Nemocnice Bohunice – Líšeň, Jírova.
• For the section Osová – Nemocnice Bohunice it will be possible to use regular bus and tram lines.
The Stará nemocnice stop of lines 40 and N90 in the direction from the centre will be relocated to a temporary platform in the central dividing strip at the level of the regular stop.

Traffic accident – Dukelská třída street
UPDATE 10:59; The 11:02 departure of line 14 from Obřany cannot be provided.

80 years of water transport – retro lines operation
As part of the celebrations marking 80 years of water transport, on Saturday, May 23, 2026, historic and retro trams and buses will operate on special routes connecting the Brno Dam and the city center.
Trams will operate on the route Mendlovo náměstí – Pisárky – Vozovna Komín – Svratecká – Zoologická zahrada – Přístaviště – Rakovecká and back.
• The route will operate from approximately 10:15 AM to 7:30 PM at 20-minute intervals.
• Trains will stop only at the listed stops.
• At Mendlovo náměstí, the line will serve the stop for line 1 towards Bystrc.
Buses will operate on the route Česká (platform No. 9) – Tábor (tram stops) – Rosického náměstí (stops for lines 44 and 84) – Svratecká (trolleybus stops on Hlavní Street) – Přístaviště (on Přístavní Street near the parking lot) and back.
• The line will operate from approximately 10:15 AM to 7:30 PM at 15-minute intervals.
• Buses will stop only at the listed stops.

Due to track replacement work, tram service on Milady Horákové Street and a section of Merhautova Street will be suspended on Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, 2026, from 8:05 AM to 7:30 PM.
Tram line 3 will operate on a two-way detour via Cejl Street on the section Česká – Vojenská nemocnice.
• The stops Moravské náměstí, Náměstí 28. října, Dětská nemocnice, and Jugoslávská will not be served.
• On the detour route, the stops Malinovského náměstí (stop for line 1), Körnerova, and Tkalcovská will be served.
Tram line 5 will operate only on the section Ústřední hřbitov - smyčka – Česká.
Replacement service will be provided by special bus line x5 on the route Česká – Štefánikova čtvrť.

Tram service will likely be suspended on the weekend of May 23–24, 2026, due to track replacement work on a section of Merhautova Street near the Dětská nemocnice stop.
The disruption will affect lines 3, 5 and 9, which will follow detour routes. A replacement bus service will be provided in the affected section.

Termination of bus service restrictions in the Kamechy housing estate
Based on the latest information from the contractor, the closure will end early on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 10:20 PM.
Daytime lines E50, 52, and 54 will continue to follow the detour routes on Friday, May 22, until the end of service; they will return to their regular routes starting with the first departure on Saturday, May 23. Night line N98 will run on its regular route starting with the first evening departure on Friday, May 22.
Bus service restrictions in the Kamechy housing estate are likely to continue to the same extent during the summer holidays.
