Anticipated events
Transport restriction at the Křížová × Poříčí intersection
Due to surface repairs, traffic restrictions are planned at the intersection of Křížová and Poříčí streets for trams on the weekend of August 23 and 24, 2025, and for buses from Saturday, August 23, 2025, until the early hours of Tuesday, August 26, 2025. Lines 2 and 6 are expected to be diverted via Renneská Street, line 5 is expected to terminate at Nové sady, and line N91 is expected to be diverted via Vojtová Street.

Bus and trolleybus traffic restriction in ŽIdenice
Due to the next stage of construction work, further traffic restrictions are planned in the Židenice area on the weekend of August 23 and 24, 2025, during which the intersection of Gajdošova and Bubeníčkova streets will be closed to traffic. Lines 27, x64, 75, N99, and 201 will be diverted via Koperníkova Street, and lines 55, 58, 78, and N97 will be diverted via Táborská and Šámalova Streets.

Bus transport restriction in Židenice
Due to ongoing road surface reconstruction at the Svatoplukova × Rokytova intersection, from 11:45 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025, until 11:45 p.m. on Sunday, August 24, 2025, there will be significant restrictions on trolleybus and bus lines in the Židenice area due to traffic restrictions at the Bubeníčkova × Svatoplukova intersection.
Trolleybus line 27 and bus line N99 will run between the stops Kuldova – Akátky (<) / Údolíček (>) in both directions via Koperníkova, Skopalíkova, Podsednická, and Kulková streets.
• It will not serve the stops Údolíček and Svatoplukova in the direction of the city center (current measures in effect since August 13, 2025).
• It will serve the stop Stará osada in a relocated position on Koperníkova Street behind the roundabout.
Bus lines 55, 58, 78, and N97 will run toward the city center in the stops Dělnický dům – Kuldova section via a one-way detour through Táborská, Dulánek, and Šámalova streets.
• The stops Gajdošova and Stará osada will not be served.
• On the diversion route, the stops Otakara Ševčíka, Mošnova, Jílkova, Uzavřená, and Tomáškova will be served.
Bus line x64 will run between the stops Kuldova – Podsednická in both directions via Koperníková, Skopalíková, Podsednická and Kulková streets.
• It will not serve the stop Údolíček in both directions and the stop Svatoplukova in the direction of the city centre. In the direction of Červený Písek / Švestková, it will additionally serve the stop Židenice, kasárna (current measures valid since 13 August 2025).
• It will serve the stop Stará osada in a relocated position on Koperníkova Street at the roundabout.
Bus line 75 will run in the direction of Slatina in the section between the stops Židenice, kasárna – Gajdošova via Skopalíkova, Koperníkova and Bubeníčkova Streets.
• The stop Stará osada will be served twice in the specified direction, at a relocated position on Koperníkova Street before the roundabout and on Bubeníčkova Street, together with lines 55, 58, 78 and 84 travelling in the direction of Gajdošova.
• The relocated stop Stará osada on Gajdošova Street will not be served during the weekend closure.
Bus line 84 will run between the stops Židenice, kasárna – Židenice, nádraží via Skopalíkova, Koperníkova and Bubeníčkova streets.
• The stop Stará osada will be served at a relocated position on Koperníkova Street at the roundabout.
Regional bus line 201 will run between the stops Kuldova – Prušánecká via a two-way diversion via Koperníkova, Skopalíkova, Podsednická and Kulková Streets.
• The stop Stará osada will be served at a relocated position on Koperníkova Street near the roundabout.
After the weekend closure, all measures related to traffic restrictions on Svatoplukova and Rokytova Streets – Phase II will remain in effect.

Transport restriction at the Křížová × Poříčí intersection
Due to the reconstruction, traffic will be restricted at the intersection of Křížová and Poříčí Streets:
• for trams from the morning departures on Saturday, August 23, 2025, until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 24, 2025, then on Monday, August 25, 2025, in three time periods between 5:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• for buses, from 10:50 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025, continuously until 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
Tram line 2 will run in the section Hlavní nádraží – Celní via the diverted Nové sady and Renneská streets.
• The stops Hybešova, Václavská, Poříčí and Nemocnice milosrdných bratří won't be served.
• On the diverted route, the stops Soukenická, Křídlovická, Vojtova and Vsetínská will be additionally served.
• At Nové sady the stop on the 3rd track will be served.
Tram line 5 will run only in the section Štefánikova čtvrt' – Mendlovo náměstí and then on a diversion to the Nové sady - smyčka stop / Pisárky.
• The stops in the section Poříčí – Ústřední hřbitov - smyčka won't be served.
• On the diversion route, it will also serve the stops Václavská, Hybešova, and Nové sady – smyčka (valid on the weekend of August 24 and 25, 2025).
• Only on Monday, August 26, 2025, will selected connections of line 5 traveling from Česká to Mendlovo náměstí be diverted to Pisárky.
Tram line 6 will run in the section Moravské náměstí – Krematorium on a diversion via Nové sady and Renneská streets.
• The stops Šilingrovo náměstí, Nemocnice u sv. Anny, Mendlovo náměstí, Poříčí, Nemocnice milosrdných bratří and Celní won't be served.
• On the diversion route, it will also serve the stops Náměstí Svobody, Zelný trh, Hlavní nádraží (in Masarykova Street), Nové sady (3rd track), Soukenická, Křídlovická, Vojtova and Vsetínská.
• The Česká stop will be served in front of the Church of St. Thomas.
The night bus line N91 will run between Hlavní nádraží – Nemocnice Milosrdných bratří via Nové sady, Vojtova, and Polní streets.
• It will not serve the stops Hybešova, Václavská, and Poříčí.
• On the detour route, it will serve the stops Soukenická, Křídlovická, and Vojtova.

Bus service restriction at the Poříčí × Renneská intersection – 4th Phase
Due to ongoing construction work, from 22:50 on Sunday, August 17, 2025, to 22:50 on Friday, August 22, 2025, there will be another phase of bus service restrictions at the intersection of Poříčí, Renneské, and Nové sady streets, during which there will be further changes to the organization of traffic.
Bus line 40 will run in both directions between Úzká and Holandská stops via Uhelná and Poříčí streets.
• The Soukenická and Křídlovická stops won't be served.
Night bus line N90 will continue to run in the section Celní – Hlavní nádraží on a diverted route in both directions via Vídeňská and Hybešova streets along the same route as line N91.
• The stops Vojtova, Křídlovická and Soukenická won't be served.
• On the diverted route all stops of line N91 will be served.
Night bus line N96 will run in both directions on a diversion via Uhelná and Poříčí streets between Hlavní nádraží and Strážní stops.
• The Křídlovická stop won't be served.
• The Soukenická stop will be served under the railway bridge (stops of lines 44 & 84).

Transport restriction on Kníničská street – 3st phase
Due to ongoing construction work as part of the road surface reconstruction, traffic will be restricted on Kníničská Street between the intersections with Branka Street and Jundrovská Street from 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, 2025, until the work is completed (expected by October 19, 2025).
Trolleybus line 30 will continue to be divided into two separate sections: Klarisky – Královo Pole, nádraží – Svratecká – Komín, sídliště and Zoologická zahrada – Bystrc, Černého.
• Stops in the section Lísky – Kamenolom (>) / Náměstí 28. dubna (<) will not be served by daytime lines during the closure.
• In the section Svratecká – Zoologická zahrada, it is necessary to use regular tram lines 1 and 12.
• The stop Zoologická zahrada will be served for both boarding and alighting for the "Bystrc area."
Night bus line N89 will run between the stops Hlavní – Branka (>) / Podlesí (<) via a detour through Podveská and Hlavní streets.
• It will not serve the stops Vozovna Komín, Jundrovská, and Branka (only in the direction of the city center).
• It will serve the stop Svratecká on Hlavní Street, shared with lines 30 and 36.
• It will also serve the stop Lísky on the detour route.
Night bus line N92 will run between the stops Hlavní – Náměstí 28. dubna via a detour along Podveská and Hlavní streets.
• It will not serve the stops Vozovna Komín and Jundrovská.
• It will serve the stop Svratecká on Hlavní Street, together with lines 30 and 36.
• On the detour route, it will also serve the stop Lísky.
The night bus line N93 line will run between the stops Hlavní – Kristenova via Podveská and Hlavní streets.
• It will not serve the stops Vozovna Komín, Jundrovská and Lísky.
• It will serve the stop Svratecká on Hlavní street, shared with lines 30 and 36.
Night bus line N98 will run between the stops Jundrovský most – Zoologická zahrada via a detour along Hlavní Street.
• It will not serve the stop Jundrovská.
• It will serve the stop Svratecká on Hlavní Street, together with lines 30 and 36.
• On the detour route, it will serve the stops Vozovna Komín, Hlavní, Podveská, and Lísky.
During the closure, transfers between lines N89, N92, N93, and N98 will be possible at the stop Hlavní.
• During the closure, the stop Svratecká will not serve as a transfer point between individual lines.
• Line N98 will serve the stop Hlavní in the opposite direction to lines N89, N92, and N93.
Regional line 302 will return to its regular route to the Zoologická zahrada terminal.

Transport restriction on Rokytova and Svatoplukova streets – 2nd phase
Due to the next stage of comprehensive surface repairs, traffic will continue to be restricted at the Svatoplukova × Rokytova intersection from 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, until the completion of works (expected by 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 31).
The following measures will remain in effect:
Line x64 will run in the direction of Červený Písek / Švestkova via the stop Židenice, kasárna.
• It will not serve the stop Údolíček.
The stop Údolíček in the direction to the centre will not be served during the closure.
The stop Údolíček in the direction of Vinohrady will be relocated forward beyond the junction with Kulkova Street.
New measures:
The stop Svatoplukova on lines 27, x64, and N99 will not be served during the closure.
The stop Stará osada on line 75 will be moved approximately 250 meters forward behind the intersection of Svatoplukova and Bubeníčkova streets.

Interruption of the operation of line 62
Due to the construction works, a part of Vinohrady Street will be closed to all traffic from Monday 11 August until the completion of the works (expected by 13 December 2025).
Bus line 62 will be out of service for the duration of the construction work.
• It will not be possible to serve the Červený kopec stop.
• In the section Mendlovo náměstí - Nemocnice Milosrdných bratří it will be possible to use regular tram lines.
Bus transport exclusion between Hvozdec and Veverská Bítýška
Due to the repairs, the road III/3866 between Veverská Bítýška and Hvozdec will be closed to all traffic from the start of operation on Monday 11 August until the completion of the works (expected by 31 August 2025).
Regional bus line 153 and the connections of regional bus line 303 via Hvozdec will be diverted along the road III/386 in the section Veverská Bítýška, náměstí – Hvozdec.
• It will not be possible to serve the stops Veverská Bítýška, sídliště and Veverská Bítýška, hájovna Na Hlince.
• On the diversion route, all connections will serve the stops Veverská Bítýška, rozcestí Mečkov, U Matky Boží and Veverská Bítýška, Vápenice.

Transport restriction at the Nové sady × Poříčí intersection
Due to reconstruction, traffic will be restricted at the intersection of Poříčí, Renneská, and Nové sady streets from 10:50 p.m. on Monday, July 28, 2025, until the work is completed (expected by August 22, 2025).
Tram lines 7 and 8 will run on a detour via Hybešova and Vídeňská streets between Hlavní nádraží – Krematorium.
• They will not serve the Soukenická, Křídlovická, Vojtova, and Vsetínská stops.
• They will serve all stops along the detour route.
• The Nové sady stop will be served on track 1/2.
Replacement transport in the excluded section will be provided by two special tram shuttle lines marked "X" on the route Hlavní nádraží (in front of the post office) – Křídlovická and Křídlovická (on Novosadský Bridge) – Vsetínská.
• Both lines will only serve stops normally served in the direction from the center in both directions.
• The stops Vsetínská, Vojtova, Křídlovická, Soukenická in the direction to the center and Nové sady (track 4) will therefore be completely out of service.
The night bus line N90 will run between Celní – Hlavní nádraží along Vídeňská and Hybešova streets, following the same route as the N91 line.
• It will not serve the stops Vojtova, Křídlovická, and Soukenická.
• It will serve all stops on the N91 line along the detour route.

Temporary relocation of the stop Vozovna Medlánky towards Semilasso
Due to road surface reconstruction, from 7:00 a.m. on Monday, July 28, 2025, until the completion of the work (expected by September 7, 2025), the stop Vozovna Medlánky in the direction of Semilasso for lines 41, 65, and N90 will be moved approximately 110 meters backward.
Restriction of traffic on line 25 in the Židenice area
Due to the full-scale repair of the surfaces, from Monday 28 July until the completion of the works (expected by 31 August 2025), the traffic will be restricted at the Svatoplukova × Rokytova intersection and in its immediate vicinity.
Trolleybus line 25 will run only in the section Nemocnice Bohunice – Tomkovo náměstí and then diverted to Vozovna Husovice.
• The stop Tomkovo náměstí in the direction to Vozovny Husovice will be served at Dukelská třída.
The alternative transport in the section Tomkovo náměstí – Pálavské náměstí (– Líšeň, Jírova) will be provided by the extraordinary bus line x25.
• In the section Tomkovo náměstí - Akátky / Vlčnovská, the line will run along Židenická Street (along the flyover of the Great City Ring Road), so the regular stops of line 25 will not be served by the stops Židenice, kasárna, Údolíček (in both directions) and Akátky (only in the direction of Tomkovo náměstí).
In addition, from 23:45 on Sunday 27 July until 23:00 on Friday 8 August 2025, the operation of other bus and trolleybus lines will be restricted in the area of Svatoplukova and Rokyta streets - see separate information here.

Traffic restriction in Jihlavská Street – 2nd phase
Due to the ongoing construction works, from 22:30 on Sunday 20 July until the completion of the works (expected till 13 December 2025), all traffic will not be able to pass through Jihlavská Street in the direction to the centre.
Bus line 40 will run in the direction of Tuřany in the section Stará nemocnice – Bidláky via Dlouhá, Lány and Heršpická streets.
• It will not serve the stops Krematorium and Ústřední hřbitov.
• On the diverted route it will serve the stops Uzbecká (in Dlouhá Street), Běloruská, Vyhlídalova, Gruzínská, Za hřbitovem, Traťová, Bohunická and Heršpická.
Night bus line N90 will run in the section Stará nemocnice – Hluboká by diverting through Ukrajinská, Lány and Vídeňská streets.
• It will not serve the Krematorium stops.
• On the diverted route it will serve the stops Uzbecká, Ukrajinská, Gruzínská (in Ukrajinská Street), Za hřbitovem, Traťová, Bohunická and Ústřední hřbitov.
Night bus line N91 will run in the section Běloruská – Hluboká by diverting through Ukrajinská, Lány and Vídeňská streets.
• It will not serve the Uzbecká and Krematorium stops.
• On the diverted route it will serve the stops Ukrajinská, Gruzínská (in Ukrajinská Street), Za hřbitovem, Traťová, Bohunická and Ústřední hřbitov.
The Uzbecká stop of lines 40 and N90 towards Nemocnice Bohunice will not be served.
The measures from 1st phase still apply.

Temporary cancellation of service of the Palackého vrch stop
Due to the complete closure of U vodárny Street, from Saturday 19 July 2025 until the completion of the works (expected till the end of August 2025), weekend connections of bus line 72 won't serve the Palackého vrch stop.

Bus transport restriction on Královopolská street
Due to the reconstruction of the water main, the entrance to Královopolská Street from Rosického náměstí will be closed from 5:00 on Monday 14 July 2025 until the completion of the works (expected till 17 August 2025 31 August 2025).
Bus lines 67 and 84 will run in the direction of Králova Pole in the section Vrázova – Přívrat via Kroftova Street.
• The Rosického náměstí stop won't be served.
• On the diverted route the Vrázova stop will be served.

Public transport restriction on Poříčí and Opuštěná streets
Due to the road reconstruction, from 4:30 a.m. on Monday 7 July 2025 until the completion of the works (expected by the end of August 2025), the passage through Poříčí and Opuštěná streets will be restricted.
Bus line 44 will run in the section Mendlovo náměstí – ÚAN Zvonařka via Václavská, Hybešová and Uhelná streets.
• The Poříčí and Křídlovická stops won't be served.
• On the diversion route, the stops Václavská, Hybešova and Soukenická will be served.
Bus line 84 will run in the section Autobusové nádraží – Mendlovo náměstí via Dornych, Úzká, Hybešova and Václavská streets.
• The stops Opuštěná, Křídlovická and Poříčí won't be served.
• On the diversion route, the Úzká, Soukenická, Hybešova and Václavská stops will be served.

Temporary relocation of the tram stop ARENA BRNO towards centre
Due to the reconstruction of the platform area, the tram stop ARENA BRNO in the direction to the city centre will be relocated to the platform in the tram loop from 8:00 on Monday 30 June 2025 until the completion of the works (expected by Sunday 31 August 2025).
Tram transport restriction on platforms 5 and 6 at central railway station
Due to the construction works, tram traffic will be excluded from the morning departures on Monday 30 June 2025 until the completion of the works (expected y by the end of August 2025) in the part of Benešova Street between the Křenová viaduct and the Grandhotel Brno.
Tram line 10 will run in the section Vlhká – Moravské náměstí in the direction to the Technologický park via Husova Street, in the direction to Stránská skála via náměstí Svobody.
• The Malinovské náměstí stop won't be served.
• On the diversion route towards Technologický park, the stops Nové sady, Šilingrovo náměstí and Česká (in Joštova Street) will be additionally served.
• On the diversion route towards Stránská skála, the stops Česká (in Rašínova Street), Náměstí Svobody and Zelný trh will be additionally served.
• The Hlavní nádraží stop will be served on the 2nd and 3rd track.

Traffic restriction in Jihlavská Street – 1st phase
Due to the construction works, from Monday 30 June 2025 until the completion of the works (expected by 13 December 2025) the traffic in Jihlavská Street between the intersections with Netroufalky and Dlouhá Streets will be restricted.
Trolleybus line 25 will operate only in the section Nemocnice Bohunice – Líšeň, Jírova.
• For the section Osová – Nemocnice Bohunice it will be possible to use regular bus and tram lines.
The Stará nemocnice stop of lines 40 and N90 in the direction from the centre will be relocated to a temporary platform in the central dividing strip at the level of the regular stop.

Traffic restriction in the Stará osada transfer node
Due to the surface repairs, from Monday 30 June 2025 until the completion of the works (expected by 31 August 2025) it will not be possible to operate platforms 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 located inside the Stará osada transfer node.
Lines 27, 55, 58, x64, E75, 78, N97, N99 and 201 will serve the platform 9 in Bubeníčkova Street towards the Vojenská nemocnice stop, and platform 11 in Bubeníčkova Street in front of the tennis courts towards Líšeň/Vinohrady/Červený písek.
Line 44 will serve platform 10 (in front of the primary school) in Svatoplukova Street.
In the direction to Slatina, line 75 will serve platform 6 (normal exit stop of line 84) in Svatoplukova Street, in the direction to Obřany, platform 10 (in front of the primary school) in Svatoplukova Street.
Line 84 will be extended and terminated at the Židenice, nádraží stop in the terminal behind the Kaufland supermarket.
• At Stará osada the platforms 9 and 11 in Bubeníčkova Street will be served.
To access platforms 10 and 11 from the Stará osada terminal area, it is necessary to use the underpass.

Seasonal operation of line H4
From Saturday 21 June 2025, line H4 operated by historic tram will be in service alway on non-working days.
Line H4 follows the route Komenského náměstí – Česká – Náměstí Svobody – Zelný trh – Hlavní nádraží – Nové sady – Hybešova – Václavská – Mendlovo náměstí.
On both line H4, standard tariff of Integrated Transport System of the South Moravian Region applies with exception of transporting bikes and heavy luggage, which is forbidden in historic vehicles. Operation of both lines will be expected till Sunday September 28 2025.

Temporary relocation of the stop Vlastimila Pecha
Due to reconstruction works the stop Vlastimila Pecha in the direction of Areál Slatina served by lines E50, E75 and 77 will be relocated approximately 130 metres backwards from 10:00 from Monday 2 June 2025 till the works are finished (expected by 24 August 2025).
Transport restriction in Kounicova Street
Due to the complete reconstruction of the road and the tram line, Nerudova Street and the part of Kounicova Street between the intersections with Zahradníkova and Šumavská Streets will be completely closed from 05:00 on Sunday 18 May 2025 until the completion of the works (expected by the end of August 2025).
Tram line 10 will run only in the section Stránská skála / Novolíšeňská – Malinovského náměstí and then via a diversion along Lidická Street and Palackého Avenue through the Medlánky depot to the Technologický park stop.
• On the diversion route, all regular stops of lines 1 and 6 will be served and additionally the stops Vozovna Medlánky (in Hudcova Street before the entrance to the depot) and Technologický park (established in the tram loop).
• In the section Česká – Komín, smyčka / Bystrc, Rakovecká, lines 3 and 12 could be used as alternatives.
• Selected connections during the off-peak hours of the working days will run from Stránská skála only to Hlavní nádraží and then via náměstí Svobody, Česká and Malinovského náměstí back to Stránská skála.
Tram line 12 will run only in the section Komárov – Konečného náměstí and then via a diversion along Minská and Horová streets to the stop Bystrc, Rakovecká.
• In the section Česká – Vozovna Komín – Bystrc, Rakovecká the line will serve as a replacement for line 3 (restricted in connection with the measures of the traffic restriction in Zábrdovická street).
• In the section Rybkova – Tábor, a temporary stop Sono Centrum (also served by line 3) will be established at the intersection of Veveří × Tábor streets.
• Selected connections during the off-peak hours will be terminated at the Vozovna Komín stop.
• Line 10 will serve as an alternative for the connection between the city centre and the Technologický park.
Substitute tram line x12 will be introduced in the section Technologický park – Klusáčkova.
• The Klusáčkova stop will be established at the intersection of Kounicova and Šumavská streets for this line.
• In addition, a temporary stop Jana Babáka will be set up on the route of line x12 in Jana Babáka Street before the intersection with Tábor Street to enable transfers to bus and trolleybus lines.
Trolleybus lines 34 and 36 will run in the section Sušilova - Spojovací via a two-way diversion through Zahradníkova, Botanická and Tábor streets.
• The Klusáčkova stop will not be served.
• On the diverted route the Zahradníkova, Botanická and Šelepova stops of line 32 will be served and in addition two temporary stops will also be served – Nerudova (established in Kounicova Street before the intersection with Nerudova Street) and Jana Babáka (temporarily established in Tábor Street at the intersection with Kounicova Street).
• The Nerudova stop will also be served by line 32.
Bus line x4 will not serve the Klusáčkova stop in both directions.
• The temporary stop Jana Babáka of lines 34 and 36 will be served as a substitute.
Night bus lines N93 and N99 will run in the section Konečného náměstí – Klusáčkova via a diversion along Veveří and Šumavská streets.
• The Nerudova stop will not be served.
• On the diverted route the Rybkova stop will be served.
Changes of stops:
Nerudova (in Nerudova Street) – without service, the temporary Nerudova stop of lines 32, 34 and 36 in Kounicova Street can be used as a substitute

Closure of Zimní Street – EXTENDED
The closure is extended until 31 August 2025.
Due to the construction of the sewerage system, Zimní Street in Maloměřice will be closed from Sunday 18 May 2025 until the completion of the works (expected by the end of July 2025).
Bus line 64 will run only on the route Chrlice, smyčka – Kuldova and then on a diversion to the stop Židenice, nádraží.
• In the area of Židenice, additional restrictions are introduced in connection with the simultaneous traffic restriction in Zábrdovická Street.
• Selected connections of line 64 will be terminated at the stop Stará osada.
• Towards Židenice, nádraží the platform No. 9 will be served (regular stop of lines 55, 58 and 78 towards Židenice, nádraží), towards Chrlice the platform No. 8 will be served (regular stop of line 64 towards Červený písek).
The substitute transport on the route Červený písek – Stará osada – Vojenská nemocnice will be provided by a bus line x64.
• The stops Zimní I. and Zimní II. will be completely without service during the closure.
• Selected connections of line x64 will run from the Červený písek bus stop via the Jarní Street to the temporarily established Švestková bus stop in Jarní Street.
• In the section Stará osada – Vojenská nemocnice the diversion route of other bus lines affected by the restrictions in Zábrdovická Street will be followed.
• Towards Vojenská nemocnice the platform No. 9 will be served (regular stop of lines 55, 58 and 78 towards Židenice, nádraží), towards Švestková the platform No. 8 will be served (regular stop of line 64 towards Červený písek).

Restriction of the tram transport to Modřice (update from 23 August 2025)
Due to the reconstruction of the tram line, tram operation in the Bohunická – Modřice, smyčka section will be excluded from the first connection on Sunday 18 May 2025 until the completion of the works (expected until the end of August 2025).
UPDATE from Saturday, 23 August 2025: Due to finishing work on the tram track reconstruction, tram line 2 will terminate at the Central Cemetery loop. Bus line x2 will additionally serve the Ústřední hřbitov - smyčka stop located on the access ramp leading to Vídeňská Street (behind the tram loop).
Tram line 2 will run only on the route Vojenská nemocnice – Ústřední hřbitov - smyčka / Bohunická.
• The termination at the Vojenská nemocnice stop is introduced due to the simultaneous traffic restriction in Zábrdovická street.
Substitute transport in the section Ústřední hřbitov - smyčka / Bohunická – Modřice, smyčka will be provided by a replacement bus line x2.
• The stop Ústřední hřbitov - smyčka – the loop will serve the access ramp leading to Vídeňská Street (behind the tram loop).
• The Bohunická stop will be served for both boarding and alighting in Bohunická street (stop of lines 50 and E50 in the direction of Bohunice).
• In the direction towards Modřice the stops Bohunická, Ořechovská (stop of line N96), Ořechovská again, Moravanské lány, Moravanská, Modřická cihelna (stops of replacement buses on the service road on the eastern side of Vídeňská Street), Modřice, Brněnská (regular bus stop in the direction of Modřice) and Modřice, smyčka will be served.
• In the direction towards centre the stops Modřice, smyčka (stop of line N94), Modřice, Brněnská (regular bus stop in the direction of Modřice), Modřická cihelna, Moravanská, Moravanské lány, Ořechovská (stops of replacement buses on the service road on the east side of Vídeňská Street) and Bohunická will be served.
• The Modřice, Tyršova stop will not be served by this line.
Regional bus lines 501 and 502 will be terminated at the Ústřední hřbitov stop during the whole day.

Traffic restriction in Zábrdovická Street
Due to the reconstruction of utility networks and roads, tram traffic in the Vojenská nemocnice – Stará osada section will be excluded from 23:00 on Saturday 17 May 2025 until the completion of the works (expected by the end of August 2025).
Tram line 2 will run only on the route Vojenská nemocnice – Ústřední hřbitov - smyčka / Bohunická.
• The termination at the Bohunická stop is introduced due to the simultaneous tram closure to Modřice.
Tram line 3 will run only on the route Vojenská nemocnice – Vozovna Komín.
• Selected connections will run on the extended route Vozovna Komín – Česká – Jugoslávská and then on a diversion to the Maloměřický most stop.
• In the section Česká – Bystrc, Rakovecká it will be possible to use line 12 diverted due to the simultaneous closure of Kounicova Street as an alternative.
In order to maintain transfer connections to lines 2 and 3, trolleybus line 27 and bus lines 55, 58, 78 and 201 will be extended from Stará osada to the Vojenská nemocnice stop.
• The extended route will lead from Stará osada via the stops Kuldova (located in the place of current exit stop Židenice, nádraží), Židenice, nádraží (stop of public transport lines in the terminal) to the final stop Vojenská nemocnice (temporarily established before the intersection of Lazaretní and Zábrdovická streets)
• In the opposite direction, the lines will run from the Vojenská nemocnice stop (in the passing lane next to the tram stop for urban lines and in front of the Zábrdovická 14/16 buildings for line 201) via Kuldova (relocated about 100 metres forward behind the railway bridge) back to Stará osada and then along the normal routes.
• Line 27 will change platform service at Stará osada, towards Vojenská nemocnice the platform No.9 will be served (regular stop of lines 55, 58 and 78 towards Židenice, nádraží), towards Vinohrady / Líšeň the platform No.8 will be served (stop of line 44).
Bus line 64 will run only on the route Chrlice, smyčka – Židenice, nádraží (diverted route via Gajdošová Street).
• The substitute transport in the section Červený písek – Stará osada – Vojenská nemocnice will be provided by a bus line x64 introduced in connection with the closure in Zimní Street.
• Once the restrictions in Šámalova Street are completed (expected at the end of May 2025) in the direction from Židenický nádraží station it will additionally serve the Vojenská nemocnice stop.
In connection with the closure, selected connections of line 25 will be extended to the Jírova stop during the whole day, while selected connections of line 27 will be terminated at Pálavské náměstí.
The night bus lines N97 and N99 will run towards the main railway station on a diverted route via the Lazaretní street in the section Stará osada – Vojenská nemocnice.
• On the diverted route, they will additionally serve the Židenice, nádraží stop (public transport stop in the terminal).
• The Kuldova and Vojenská nemocnice stops will be served in both directions in the relocated positions identical to the daytime lines.

Kuldova
• In the direction of Stará osada relocated by approximately 100 metres forward behind the railway bridge.
• In the direction of Vojenská nemocnice, in place of the existing exit stop Židenice, nádraží.
Vojenská nemocnice
• For the exit (lines 27, 55, 58, 78 and 201) and in the direction to the city centre (lines N97 and N99), established before the intersection of Lazaretní × Zábrdovická.
• In the direction to Stará osada, established for all urban lines in the passing lane next to the tram stop, line 201 will serve a permanent stop in front of the buildings Zábrdovická 14 and 16.

Bus transport restriction on Anenská street
Due to heating pipeline reconstruction, bus transport on Anenská street are restricted from the night of 1/2 April 2025 continuously until the completion of the works (expected by the second half of September 2025).
The night bus line N97 will run in the section between the stops Hybešova – Mendlovo náměstí by a two-way diversion through Václavská Street.
• It will thus skip the St. Anne's Hospital stop.
• In addition, it will serve the Václavská stop on the diversion route.
• The Mendlovo náměstí stop in the direction to Líšně will be served by the pavement together with line N98 (platform 8).
The stop Nemocnice u sv. Anny will continue to be served by lines N89 (only in the direction from the centre) and N95.

Traffic restriction under the Křenová viaduct – UPDATE from 28.07.2025
In connection with the reconstruction of a part of the Křenová railway viaduct, the passage under the viaduct in Nádražní Street will be closed to all road traffic from 25 March 2025 until the completion of the works (estimated till the end of August 2025).
UPDATE: From Monday, July 28, 2025 (from the 11:00 p.m. connection from the station), lines N94 and N95 will serve Modřice and Chrlic, respectively. Chrlice will serve the Main Station stop in its original location (platform no. 10 by the "wall") – see the transfer hub diagram here.
Trolleybus lines 31 and 33 will run in the direction towards centre from the Spáčilova stop by diverting through Hladíková, Masná, Mlýnská and Rumiště streets, and then back through Křenová street via the Vlhká stop along the normal route to Slatina and Šlapanice.
• In the direction to the centre, the Životského, Masná and Vlhká stops won't be served.
• On the diversion route the stops Tržní (stop of lines 47, 49, 77 and 84 in the direction of Zvonařka), Mlýnská (in Mlýnská Street behind the intersection with Masná Street), Čechyňská (on Šujanovo náměstí) and the substitute stop Hlavní nádraží located in Rumiště Street will be served.
• The regular stop Hlavní nádraží in the trolleybus loop will not be served by these lines.
• Selected connections of lines 31 and 33 will run from the Spáčilova stop along the route of line 77 to Úzká.
Bus line 47 will continue to terminate at the Úzká stop.
Bus line 67 will run in the section between the stops Vlhká and Malinovského náměstí via a diverted route through Koliště Street in both directions.
• The Hlavní nádraží stop won't be served.
Selected connections of bus line 77 will run from the Tržní stop along the diversion route and the stops of trolleybus lines 31 and 33 to the Hlavní nádraží stop in Rumiště Street.
School line š86 will serve the stop Hlavní nádraží located in the trolleybus loop.
The night bus lines N89, N95, N96 and N98 will run between the stops Vlhká/Úzká and Hlavní nádraží on the diversion route along Koliště Street.
• On the diversion route the Malinovského náměstí stop of lines N94, N97 and N99 will additionally be served in the direction of the main railway station.
Night bus lines N94 and N95 in the direction to Modřice and Chrlice respectively will serve a Hlavní nádraží stop in the trolleybus loop located on the pavement in the opposite direction.
UPDATE: From Monday, July 28, 2025 (from the 11:00 p.m. connection from the station), lines N94 and N95 will serve Modřice and Chrlic, respectively. Chrlice will serve the Main Station stop in its original location (platform no. 10 by the "wall").
For daily public transport lines, all service restrictions will start to apply from the morning departures on Tuesday 25 March 2025.
In addition, tram traffic will also be excluded under the Křenová viaduct on selected weekends for the duration of the closure. This will affect the tram lines 8, 9, 10 and 12. The diversion is expected to take place on the following dates:

Bus transport restriction in Modřice - 4th phase
Due to the 4th stage of the reconstruction of utility networks, traffic in the part of Masarykova Street in Modřice is completely excluded from 23:30 on Sunday 16 February 2025 until the completion of the works (expected by mid-September 2025).
Bus line 49 operates only in the section Úzká - Přízřenice, smyčka.
Substitute transport is provided by bus line x49 on the route Komárov – Horní Heršpice – Přízřenice – Modřice, Olympia (– Dvůr v lese). The line follows the route and stops of line 49 except for the diversion in the section Přízřenice – Modřice, Masarykova via Moravanská, Vídeňská, Brněnská, Nádražní and Husova streets in both directions.
• The stops Jezerní, Modřická and Modřice, Žižkova are not served.
• On the diverted route the stops Moravanská, Modřická cihelna, Modřice, Brněnská, Modřice, smyčka, Modřice, železniční stanice (platforms 5 and 6 in Husova Street) and Modřice, Husova are additionally served.
• In the section Horní Heršpice – Komárov the line goes via the stops Hněvkovského and Sazenice towards Komárov. The stop Horní Heršpice is served in a relocated position in the Sokolova street.
The night bus line N94 is diverted in the section Přízřenice – Modřice, Masarykova along the same route and stops as line x49.
• Part of the connections of line N94 will be terminated at the terminal Modřice, železniční stanice (departure from platform 4).
When travelling to and from Modřice it is also possible to use railway line S3, tram line 2 and regional bus lines 509 and 510. Interchange is possible at the stops Modřice, smyčka and Modřice, železniční stanice.

Údolní street reconstruction
Due to the reconstruction of utilities, tram lines and the road surface, the Údolní street between the intersection with Husova street and the intersection with Bratří Čapků street is completely closed.
Tram line 4 runs on the semicircular route Babická – Maloměřický most – Malinovského náměstí – Česká – Náměstí Svobody – Hlavní nádraží – Malinovského náměstí – Maloměřický most – Babická.
• The stops Česká, Náměstí Svobody, Zelný trh and Hlavní nádraží are served in one direction only. The stop Česká is served on platform 5 (together with line 9 in front of St. Thomas Church).
Replacement transport is provided by bus line x4 on the route Česká – Náměstí Míru – Tábor – Nákupní centrum Královo Pole.
• The stop Česká is served at the stop of line 12 in the direction Hlavní nádraží. In the direction from Česká the buses divert through Husova, Pekařská, Úvoz and Grohova streets. The buses skip the stops Komenského náměstí and Obilní trh and serve the stop Šilingrovo náměstí (stops of lines 5 and 6 in the direction of Mendlovo náměstí), Nemocnice u sv. Anny, Sladová (at the Úvoz × Sladová intersection), Tvrdého and Úvoz (stop of lines 25 and 26 in the direction of Konečného náměstí) stops on the diversion route. The stop Všetičkova is relocated behind the Grohova × Údolní intersection. Furthermore, line x4 serves the stop Náměstí Míru (stop of line N89) and continues along the route of line 68 via the Kounicovy koleje, Tábor (relocated to Tábor Street), Klusáčkova (relocated to Tábor Street), Štefánikova and then via the stop Reissigova to the stop Nákupní centrum Královo Pole.
• In the direction of Česká, buses run from the stop Nákupní centrum Královo Pole via the stops Reissigova and Štefánikova to the stop Klusáčkova of line 68, then along the route of line 68 via the stops Tábor, Kounicovy koleje and Tichého to the stop Náměstí Míru (in a loop), then serving the stops Heinrichova and Všetičkova of line 4 and then continuing on a diversion through Bratří Čapků, Gorkého, Grohová and Veveří streets. They thus skip the stops Obilní trh and Komenského náměstí, and on the diversion route they serve the stop Úvoz (stop of lines 25 and 26 in the direction of Konečného náměstí), Grohova (in Grohova Street before the intersection with Veveří Street) and Česká (stop of line 12 in the direction of Hlavní nádraží) stops.
• Part of the connections of line x4 only runs in the section Česká – Náměstí Míru.
Trolleybus lines 38 and 39 in the direction to the centre run from the stop Úvoz (stop of lines 25 and 26 in the direction of Konečného náměstí) via Grohova and Veveří streets and terminate at the stop Česká.
• They thus skip the stops Obilní trh and Komenského náměstí and serve the stops Grohova (in Grohova Street before the intersection with Veveří Street) and Česká (stop of line 80 at the park) stops on the diversion route.
Trolleybus lines 38 and 39 in the direction to Masarykova čtvrť run from the stop Česká (line 80 stop by the park) along Kounicova Street, through Konečného náměstí and Úvoz.
• They thus skip the stops Komenského náměstí and Obilní trh, and on the diversion route they serve the stops Česká (line 80 stop at the park), Smetanova, Sušilova, Konečného náměstí, Čápkova and Úvoz (line 25 and 26 stop towards Mendlovo náměstí).
Selected connections of line 38 run from the stop Úvoz (stop of lines 25 and 26 in the direction of Konečného náměstí) through the stops Čápkova and Nerudova to the stop Konečného náměstí (stop of lines 25 and 26 in the direction of Mendlovo náměstí), from where they continue back in the direction of Preslova.
Bus line 68 operates only in the section Myslivna – Náměstí Míru. In the remaining part of the route, it is replaced by the shutdown bus line x4.
• The stops Šumavská and Šelepova are not be served by line x4 or line 68. On the other hand, the stop Štefánikova is served in both directions.
Bus line 80 in the direction to Špilberk runs in the section Česká – Úvoz on the same route as lines 38 and 39.
• It thus skip the stop Komenského náměstí, and on the diverted route it serves the stops Konečného náměstí and Úvoz (stop of lines 25 and 26 in the direction of Mendlovo náměstí).
Bus line 80 in the direction to Česká runs in the section Úvoz – Česká on the same route as lines 38 and 39.
• It thus skips the stop Komenského náměstí, and on the diverted route it serves the stops Úvoz (stop of lines 25 and 26 in the direction of Konečného náměstí) and Grohova (in Grohova Street before the intersection with Veveří Street).
The night bus line N89 in the direction from the main railway station runs in the section Šilingrovo náměstí – Všetičkova via Pekařská, Úvoz and Gorkého streets.
• It skips the stops Komenského náměstí and Obilní trh. It serves the stop Šilingrovo náměstí in Pekařská Street (stop of lines 5 and 6 in the direction of Mendlovo náměstí) and on the diversion route it also serves the stops Nemocnice u sv. Anny, Sladová (at the Úvoz × Sladová intersection), Tvrdého and Úvoz (stop of lines 25 and 26 in the direction of Konečného náměstí). The stop Všetičkova is relocated behind the Grohova × Údolní intersection.

It serves the stop Šilingrovo náměstí in Pekařská Street (stop of lines 5 and 6 in the direction of Mendlovo náměstí) and on the diversion route it also serves the stops Nemocnice u sv. Anny, Sladová (at the Úvoz × Sladová intersection) and Tvrdého.
The night bus line N95 in the direction to the main railway station runs in the section Tvrdého – Šilingrovo náměstí via Úvoz, Gorkého, Grohová and Veveří streets.
• It thus skips the stops Obilní trh and Komenského náměstí and on the diversion route it serves the stops Úvoz (stop of lines 25 and 26 in the direction of Konečného náměstí), Grohova (in Grohova Street before the intersection with Veveří Street) and Česká (stop of line 12 in the direction of Hlavní nádraží).
Connections of night lines N89 and N95 going to the connection at the main station at 23:00, 23:30 and 0:00 on Saturday 31 August 2024 in the evening will already be running on the closure route!
The stops Komenského náměstí and Obilní trh cannot be served during the closure. Similarly, it is not possible to serve the stops Úvoz in Údolní street; all lines affected by the closure serve the stops Úvoz of lines 25 and 26.

Traffic restriction at the intersection Tilhonova × Zlínská
Due to the ongoing repair of the road surface, a part of Tilhonova and Zlínská Street will be closed to all traffic from 22:30 on Saturday 26 July 2025 until 4:30 on Monday 28 July.
The trolleybus line 33 and the night bus line N96 will run from the stop Vozovna Slatina in a two-way diversion through Vlárská, Řípská, Tuřanka and Bedřichovická streets to the stop Slatina, rozcestí.
• This way, the stops Hviezdoslavova (only in the direction to the centre) Langrova, Mikulčická, Kroměřížská and Slatina, sídliště will not be served.
• The stop Hviezdoslavova (in the direction from the centre) will be relocated to Vlárská Street.
• In addition, the diversion route will be served by the stops Vlárská (only in the direction to the centre), Brněnky, Řípská, Křehlíkova, Přemyslovo náměstí, Krejčího and Slatina, rozcestí (stop for both directions in Bedřichovická Street in the direction of Krejčího).
• The stop Krejčího will be served by the night bus line N96 in both Matlachova and Šlapanická streets, always in the respective direction.
The stops Hviezdoslavova (in the direction to the centre) Langrova, Mikulčická, Kroměřížská and Slatina, sídliště estate will be without service during the closure.
After the end of this closure, measures related to the closure of Tilhonova Street will continue (expected until 31 July 2025).

Due to a malfunction of the tunnel safety equipment, the connection of line 8 is delayed by about 7 minutes. A backup vehicle is being dispatched from the Nové sady stop.

Tram transport restriction under the viaduct at the central railway station
In connection with the reconstruction of a part of the Křenová railway viaduct, the passage for all traffic under the viaduct in Nádražní Street will be closed on Saturday 26 July and Sunday 27 July both days from 7:00 to 20:30.
Tram line 8 will be divided into two sections Nemocnice Bohunice – Hlavní nádraží (– Malinovského náměstí) and Hlavní nádraží (in Křenová Street) – Líšeň, Mifkova.
• In the direction from Nemocnice Bohunice the line will terminate at Hlavní nádraží (exit in Masarykova Street), in the opposite direction it will depart from Malinovské náměstí (stop of lines 1 and 67) via Hlavní nádraží (1st track) back to Nemocnice Bohunice.
• In the direction from Líšeň, the line will be terminated at the temporary stop Hlavní nádraží in Křenová Street before the intersection with Koliště Street.
Tram line 9 will be divided into two sections Lesná, Čertova rokle – Hlavní nádraží and Hlavní nádraží (in Křenová Street) – Juliánov.
• In the direction from Lesná, the line will go to Moravské náměstí and then take a circular route via Malinovského náměstí, Hlavní nádraží (1st track), náměstí Svobody and Česká (in front of the church) back to Lesná.
• In the direction from Juliánov, the line will terminate at the temporary stop Hlavní nádraží in Křenová Street before the intersection with Koliště Street.
• Selected connections in the early morning and late evening will run from Moravské náměstí along the normal route to Hlavní nádraží.
Tram lines 8 and 9 will serve the Vlhká and Hlavní nádraží stops in Křenová Street in both directions at the stop normally used for the direction to the centre.
Tram line 10 will be divided into two sections Technologický park – Hlavní nádraží and Masná – Stránská skála - smyčka.
• In the city centre, it will follow the circular route Moravské náměstí – Česká (in front of the Church of St.Thomas) – Náměstí Svobody – Zelný trh – Hlavní nádraží (in Masarykova Street) – Nové sady – Šilingrovo náměstí – Česká (in Joštova Street) – Moravské náměstí.
Tram line 12 will be divided into two sections Bystrc, Rakovexká – Hlavní nádraží (– Malinovského náměstí) and Hlavní nádraží (in Dornych Street) – Komárov.
• In the direction from Bystrc, Rakovecká the line will terminate at Hlavní nádraží (exit in Masarykova street), in the opposite direction it will depart from the stop Malinovské náměstí (stop of lines 1 and 67) via Hlavní nádraží (1st track) back to Bystrc.
• In the direction from Komárov, a shuttle service will be introduced to the temporary stop Hlavní nádraží in Dornych Street before the intersection with Koliště Street. All stops will be served bidirectionally on the track normally used for the journey to the centre.
Bus line 40 will run in the direction of Studentská Street in the section between the Konopná and Úzká stops, diverting via Dornych Street.
• The Železniční stop won't be served.
• The Autobusové nádraží stop on Zvonařka Street (stop of lines 47, 49, 77 and 84) will be served.
• In the direction to Tuřany the normal route will be followed.
Bus lines 48 and 74 will serve the Železniční stop in a relocated position approximately 50 metres back in the passing lane.
Bus lines running along Křenová Street will serve the Masná and Vlhká stops in the direction to the centre in the forward relocated position in the passing lane.
A pedestrian route must be taken between the regular Hlavní nádraží stops and the temporary Hlavní nádraží stops on Křenová and Dornych Streets.
The traffic measures for lines 31, 33, 67, 77, N89, N94, N95, N96 and N98 valid in connection with the road closure under the Křenová viaduct remain in force.
This weekend is expected to be the last one of this closure.

Vehicle failure – stop Vlhká
Temporary relocation of the stop Vlhká towards Masná
Due to the replacement of track objects at the intersection of Křenová and Dornych Streets, bus lines 67, E76, N89, N96 and N98 will run from 6:00 on Saturday 26 July 2025 until 20:30 on Sunday 27 July 2025 in the direction from the city centre in the section Hlavní nádraží – Masná via Cejl and Špitálka Streets.
• The Vlhká stop in the direction from the centre will be served in a relocated position about 100 metres forward, behind of the intersection of Křenová and Špitálka Streets.
Transport restriction on Heršpická street – EXTENDED
The closure is extended until 4:00 on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.
Due to a full road surface repair, traffic in Heršpická Street will be restricted from 23:00 on Friday 25 July 2025 until 23:00 on Sunday 27 July 2025 4:00 on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.
Bus line 40 will run in the section Heršpická / Ústřední hřbitov – Křídlovická with a two-way diversion directly through Heršpická Street.
• It will skip the stops Bidláky and Holandská.
• On the diversion route it will serve the stop Strážní.
In connection with traffic restrictions at the Heršpická × Opuštěná intersection, regional bus lines 104, 105 and 108 will not serve the stop Strážní in both directions.
