Bridge closure in Česká
Due to the installation of a temporary bridge, the bridge over the railroad tracks between Česká and Lelekovice will likely be closed to all traffic from Wednesday April 15 2026 to Tuesday April 28 2026.
The restriction will affect lines 41, x41, N91, and x91, whose current detour routes will undergo further changes.
Detailed information about the closure will be published in the week prior to its beginning at www.dpmb.cz and sent to registered users via the Newsletter service.
Scheduled events
Temporary relocation of the stop Semilasso
Due to construction work, the Semilasso stop for bus and trolleybus lines in the direction from Královo Pole, nádraží will be relocated approximately 50 meters back from 9:00 AM on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by May 3, 2026).
• Lines 30, 44, and 72 will serve the regular stop for line 6 towards the city center.
• Lines 41, 42, and 70 will serve a temporary stop in the passing lane at the level of the tram stop.
End of selected closure restrictions
Due to the early termination of certain public transport restrictions, the following changes will take effect on Tuesday, April 7, 2026:
Bus line 62 will resume regular service on the Mendlovo náměstí – Červený kopec route.
Bus line 78 and affected connections of regional bus line 201 will return to their regular routes.
• Service of the Strnadova stop will be restored.

Resumption of seasonal service of the stop Hrad Špilberk
From Friday April 3 2026, seasonal line 80 will resume service on the Česká – Úvoz – Hrad Špilberk route.
• The route will operate on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
• Route 80 is expected to operate until Saturday October 31 2026.

Public transport operation during Easter
Public transport operation during Easter period:
• On Thursday 2 April 2026 (Easter school holiday), lines 1–84 will follow timetables for school holidays. Bus lines 66, š85, š86 and š88 will be out of service.
• From Friday 3 April to Sunday 5 April 2026, all lines will follow timetables for Saturdays + Sundays (lines 12 and 72 will follow timetables for Saturdays).
• On Monday 6 April 2026 (Easter Monday), all lines will follow timetables for Saturdays + Sundays (lines 12 and 72 will follow timetables for Sundays). Considering the shopping centres being closed, connections of line 78 will skip the stops Modřice, Decathlon and Modřice, XXXLutz.
Temporary relocation of the stop Skácelova
Due to excavation works, the stop Skácelova served by lines 12 and N99 will be relocated in both directions will be moved before the Královopolská × Skácelova × Purkyňova intersection closer to the center from 5:00 a.m. on Monday 16 March 2026 till the works are finished (Expected until July 15, 2026):
• towards the centre approximately 130 meters forwards
• from the centre approximately 140 meters backwards
Tram traffic restriction to Stránská skála
Due to tram track repair, tram operation to Stránská skála is interrupted from Monday 16 March 2026 until the completion of the works (estimated till the end of May 2026).
All connections of tram line 10 are diverted from the stop Krásného to the loop Novolíšeňská.
• The tram stops Podstránská, Stránská skála and Stránská skála - smyčka won't be served.
Substitute transport for the area of Zetor factory is provided by bus line x10 serving the semi-circular route Novolíšeňská » Zetor - smyčka » ZKL » Slévárna Heunisch » Zetor - silnice » Novolíšeňská.
• Line x10 will only operate during peak hours on working days, always from 4:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and as a special service after 10:00 p.m.
• The Zetor - smyčka stop will be served by line x10 as a replacement for line 58 connections running through this stop.

Stránská skála – out of service, it will be possible to use line x10 instead (the stops in the area of Zetor factory will be served)

Line 78 restriction in Líšeň
UPDATE: Based on the latest information from the contractor, the service suspension will end on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 11:20 PM. Starting Tuesday, April 7, 2026, line 78 and the affected connections of line 201 will return to their regular routes.
Due to extensive surface repairs, the road connecting Jedovnická and Podruhová streets will be closed from Saturday, March 14, 2026, until the completion of the work (expected by April 15, 2026).
Bus line 78 will run between the stops Mikulovská – Elplova via Sedláčkova, Houbalova, and Podruhovou streets.
• It will not serve the stop Strnadova; the stop Mikulovská can be used as a replacement.
• It will serve the stops Vlkova and Houbalova on the detour route.
School connections on regional bus line 201 serving the Horníkova stop will run on a detour via Podruhova, Houbalova, and Sedláčkova streets in the Elplova – Prušánecká section.
• The Strnadova stop won't be served.
• No additional stops will be served on the detour route.

Change in service at the Ruda stop
In connection with the construction of the tram line to Kamechy, from 4:30 AM on Thursday, March 5, 2026 until the completion of this stage of work (expected by the evening of April 30, 2026), the Ruda stop will be:
• In the direction from Ečerova to Kamechy it will be moved back approximately 90 meters.
• In the direction from Kamechy to Ečerova it will be temporarily out of service. It will be possible to use the stops Říčanská and Ečerova as alternatives.
Bus transport restriction in U Jezu Street
Due to construction work, U Jezu Street will be closed to buses from Monday, March 2, 2026 until the completion of the work (expected by May 29, 2026).
Bus line 49 connections to and from the Dvůr v lese stop will operate only in the Hlavní nádraží – Modřice, čistička section.
• The Dvůr v lese stop will not be served for the duration of the closure.

Change of line 84 platform at Stará osada terminal
Due to construction work on Skopalíkova and Markéty Kuncové streets and operational changes, from March 1, 2026, until the completion of the work (expected by November 30, 2026), line 84 will serve platform no. 8 (regular stop for line 44) for boarding at the Stará osada terminal.

Temporary relocation of the stop Staré letiště
Due to the water main reconstruction, the stop Staré letiště served by lines 31, 33 and N96 are relocated in both directions from 19:00 on Friday 27 February 2026 till the works are finished (Expected until the end of May 2026):
• towards the centre approximately 400 meters back
• from the centre approximately 430 meters forwards
Interruption of the operation of line 62
UPDATE: Based on the latest information from the contractor, the service suspension will end early on Monday, April 6, 2026. Service on Line 62 will therefore resume on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
Due to the construction works, a part of Vinohrady Street is closed to all traffic from Monday 23 February until the completion of the works (expected by 27 July 2026).
Bus line 62 is out of service for the duration of the construction work.
• It is not be possible to serve the Červený kopec stop.
• In the section Mendlovo náměstí – Nemocnice Milosrdných bratří it is possible to use regular tram lines.
Temporary relocation of the stop Za Lužánkami
UPDATE: From 8:00 AM on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, the Za Lužánkami stop for line 67 towards Jundrov will also be moved approximately 140 meters back before the intersection with Erbenova Street.
Due to construction work, the Za Lužánkami stop is relocated from 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by August 31, 2026):
• For line 67 towards Avion Shopping Park, approximately 140 meters back to Sportovní Street before the parking lot exit.
• For lines 25 and 26 towards Jírova / Štefánikova čtvrť, to the central island approximately at the level of the existing stop.

Temporary cancellation of service at the Uzbecká stop

Fryčajova Street Closure
Due to reconstruction of utility networks and road surfaces, Fryčajova Street in Obřany is closed to all traffic from 6:15 AM on Saturday, November 1, 2025 until completion of the work (expected at least till spring in 2027).
All tram line 4 connections run to the Obřany, Babická stop.
• Selected connections will no longer terminate at the Maloměřický most stop.
Bus line 57 only operates between Vranov, smyčka and Maloměřický most.
• Selected connections will no longer terminate at the Obřany, sídliště stop in the morning.
Bus line 75 only operates on the section (Slatina, nádraží –) Vozovna Slatina – Tomkovo náměstí.
• In the direction from Slatina, it runs from the Židenice, kasárna stop via the Karlova and Maloměřický most stops to the Tomkovo náměstí stop.
• In the direction to Slatina, it runs from Tomkovo náměstí (serves both the stop at the end of Valchařská Street and the stop on line 84) directly to the Židenice, kasárna stop and then continue along the usual route.

The night bus line x94 runs along the route Brno, Tomkovo náměstí (connection with line N94) – Ochoz u Brna – Kanice – Řícmanice – Bílovice nad Svitavou – Brno, Obřany, sídliště.
• From the stop Obřany, sídliště in the direction of Brno, connections depart from the signpost in the direction of Bílovice nad Svitavou.
• In Bílovice nad Svitavou, buses stop opposite the x75 line at stops in the opposite direction.
• Only buses specified in the timetable stop at the stops Ochoz u Brna, Kanice, and Řícmanice; other buses travel between Brno, Tomkovo náměstí and Bílovice nad Svitavou, UP závody without stopping.
Line x94 also replaces selected connections on line x75 during off-peak hours.
Fare measures:
• When traveling on line x94 between stops in fare zone 100, holders of the relevant season ticket do not pay the fare for zones 210 and 215; a season ticket for zone 100 is sufficient.
• When traveling on line x94 between fare zones 100 and 215, holders of the relevant prepaid ticket do not pay the fare for zone 210; a prepaid ticket for zones 100 and 215 is sufficient.
• Passengers with a single-use ticket pay the fare according to the fare zones actually traveled.
• On this line, except for the stops Tomkovo náměstí and Obřany, sídliště, passengers board exclusively through the front door, with the driver checking or selling tickets.

Tram service restriction at Ečerova terminus
Due to construction work at the Ečerova loop in connection with the construction of a new tram line to the Kamechy housing estate, there are changes to tram service in Bystrc from Saturday, October 18, 2025, until the completion of works (expected by the end of August 2026).
Tram line 1 operates in the Řečkovice – Přístaviště section and then is diverted to the Rakovecká loop.
• The Kubíčkova, Ondrouškova, and Ečerova stops are not served.
As a replacement, tram line 3 is extended to the Ečerova stop.
• The Rakovecká loop is not served.
• On the extended route, the Kubíčkova and Ondrouškova stops are served.
• The Ečerova stop is served for both boarding and alighting in the location of the current exit stop.
Other lines in the area remain unchanged.
While travelling by line 1 from the city center to the western part of Bystrc and the Kamechy housing estate in the evening, we recommend transferring to bus lines 52 and 54 at the Zoologická zahrada terminal.

Traffic restriction in Jihlavská Street – 1st phase
Due to the construction works, from Monday 30 June 2025 until the completion of the works (expected by 20 May 2026) the traffic in Jihlavská Street between the intersections with Netroufalky and Dlouhá Streets will be restricted.
Trolleybus line 25 will operate only in the section Nemocnice Bohunice – Líšeň, Jírova.
• For the section Osová – Nemocnice Bohunice it will be possible to use regular bus and tram lines.
The Stará nemocnice stop of lines 40 and N90 in the direction from the centre will be relocated to a temporary platform in the central dividing strip at the level of the regular stop.

Vehicle failure – stop Křídlovická
Vehicle failure – stop Konečného náměstí
Due to a vehicle malfunction, the departure of Line 3 at 05:35 from Konečného náměstí will not take place. A replacement vehicle will be deployed from the Česká stop at 05:39.
Impassable route – Hybešova street
An alternative bus will depart from the stop Nové sady in line 2.
Vehicle failure – stop Svratecká
An alternative bus in direction Česká will depart from the stop Štursova.
Traffic irregularity – stops Kohoutovice, hájenka, Stará dálnice
UPDATE 12:36: A replacement bus has been added to route 52 starting from the Stará dálnice stop.

Due to a cycling race, public transportation may be delayed in the Kohoutovice and Stará dálnice areas.
Traffic accident – stop Kartouzská
UPDATE 12:03: The detour has ended; lines 1 and 6 are returning to their regular routes.
Missed connections on the Semilasso–Main Station section are being replaced by buses.
UPDATE 11:57: Lines 1 and 6 are being rerouted in both directions via Veveří and Kounicova Streets through the Technology Park.
The location is currently impassable for all transport. An alternative bus will depart from the stop Kartouzská.
Diversion terminated, line XX follows its regular route again.
Traffic accident – stop Žebětín, hřbitov
UPDATE 10:36: Traffic has cleared; bus line 52 is running with delays of up to 20 minutes.

Time change – night transport organisation changes
On the night of Saturday 28 March / Sunday 29 March 2026, the changeover to daylight saving time will take place. At 2:00, the clock will be set one hour forward to 3:00. Therefore, there will be one less connection of night bus lines.
• Bus line x91 connection departing from Lelekovice, u kříže stop at 2:19 AM and from Mácova stop at 2:28 AM will be cancelled without replacement.

Passengers will be transported by an alternative vehicle with delay.
Traffic accident – stop Antonínská
The location is currently impassable for all transport.
Passengers from line 1 towards Řečkovice will be transferred to a backup vehicle with a delay.
UPDATE 20:34: Traffic from the center has been released, the direction to the center remains impassable for trams. Backup buses are lined up behind the connections of lines 1 and 6 towards the city.
UPDATE 20:58: Traffic has also been cleared to the city center, backup vehicles are being lined up for delayed services. Expect irregularities in connection with the trams being lined up at regular times.
